  “We visited the Waverley Inn for their live music event, and it was such a fantastic evening! The outdoor seating created a lovely atmosphere in the sun, and the cocktails were a definite 10/10. A special mention to Daisy, the manager, who was incredibly friendly. She mentioned that she organises the events, and I really hope they do more because it was such a success! The musicians were so talented and even took a song request while we were dancing, which made the experience feel really personal and fun. We also tried some nibbles from the new menu, and everything was absolutely delicious. I honestly can’t recommend the Waverley Inn enough. We’ll definitely be back!!”

  “I visited The Waverley Inn for their sip and paint evening with my best friend and we had the best evening. The Art social club london conducted the evening and they kept the atmosphere really fun and relaxed! Would recommend to anyone. We hadn’t painted since school days and they were so great with helping us. Also the service from all their waitresses was top notch!! They were all so kind and welcoming and the food was so so yummy and plentiful!”

  “My first time here in 10+ years and I am gutted that I live too far from this utter gem to visit regularly. A friend and I walked in on spec, a table of two was leaving as we arrived and the team turned the table around so quickly that it was waiting for us by the time we'd asked if they had space for us! My friend had the steak tartare, as a main, I had the special which was truffle gnocchi in a creamy cep sauce with crispy paremesan and it was absolutely delicious! One of the nicest things I've eaten in years. We both had a glass of wine. I had a lovely albarino. I highly recommend this place. Great food, wine and excellent service.”

  “The Sunday roast platter for two was amazing . Sirloin of Beef , Roast Chicken and Pork Belly with crackling plus all your veg , Roast Potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and gravy. There was so much food we couldn't finish it all. The staff were so nice , very attentive and always making sure you had everything you need. All the meats were melt in the mouth tasty and the roasties were perfection. If your looking for aSunday Roast this is definitely the place to go. Just to add there was a really well stocked bar with lots of choice for drinks.. No more cooking for me on a Sunday , I know where I'll be going ..”

  “We visited The Waverley Inn for lunch to celebrate my wife’s 40th birthday and had such a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely amazing – everything was beautifully prepared and full of flavour. What really made the visit special, though, was the service. Our waitress was fantastic: friendly, attentive, and clearly brilliant at her job. She made us feel really welcome and helped make the celebration even more enjoyable. She truly deserves recognition (and maybe even a pay rise! 😂). Thank you to the whole team for making our visit so memorable – we’ll definitely be back!”

  “Amazing meal for my birthday; had the smoked sirloin which was cooked perfectly and all the sides were delicious. Highly recommended if you like steak. Service was excellent. Thank you so much Waverley for making it a birthday meal to to remember ❤️”

  “Lovely Sunday lunch at The Waverly. It's the first time visiting and won't be the last. The place has a great intimate atmosphere and the staff were excellent. My only note is that my crumble had more crumble..... otherwise an excellent meal. I will be back to try the mains from the normal dining menu next time.”

  “Don't often leave reviews but had the sharing roast with my partner and we were both very impressed. Service was fast, attentive and friendly. Restaurant itself had a nice relaxed atmosphere and a view into the kitchen which I always like. The food itself was fantastic, ingredients were clearly very high quality and fresh and a generous portion. Everything was full of flavour but the beef in particular was beautifully soft, crackling was perfect and there was plenty of lovely glossy gravy. Will definitely be back before long!”
