  “We called in for an evening meal and what a great choice it was. The service was superb especially Michelle, who didn't stop running around serving everyone. The food was fantastic; we ordered the Hunter's Chicken and the Chicken & Ribs which we highly recommend. All in all it's a great pub for food and drink!!!”

  “Lovely friendly pub with tasty pub food - my daughter said best carbonara she'd had. Parking is mainly street parking and not a garden as such but the outside seating was lovely on a summer evening. Dog friendly.”

  “An amazing find in the village of Wookey. I had the ribs and chicken and my partner had the chicken and chorizo burger. Both were absolutely amazing and un believably good value. The staff were very friendly too. Good selection of beers.”

  “Great local pub, serving really good pub grub style food. The menu was a little limited, but what we had was delicious and great value for money. The pub decor is light, and and comfortable. Could do with a family only area as some toddlers were quite noisy near us, even though it was way past their bedtime”

  “My partner and I were very pleased with our food. Most importantly to myself was that it was hot, a feature that seems to be missing in most places in Wells itself. The Ploughmans was a real feast and I thoroughly enjoyed the Hunters Chicken, but as said elsewhere, a bit more sauce would be nice. To sum up in a word, I would say Excellent”

  “Only issue is parking, its a case of park where you can, BUT...😃😃😃 Its a Lovely Little Pub with Big on everything, and Quality of food that fills, unlike the tourist pubs, good down to earth service making you feel at home. Found this via Google Map while short break at Wookey Hole. Glastonbury,Wells and Wookey we visit every other year, so well def re-visit. Thankyou to all at Ring O Bells for great experience.🥳💯👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽”

  “Very busy locals pub in Wookey. We went on a Saturday evening around 7pm. There is street parking. The food was ok, and homemade. Service was fine.”

  “Must visit if you're in the area. Everything was perfect. From the greetings from the lovely girl who served us to the quality of the food, and the lovely chat with the landlord, Denis. Highly recommend visiting this cosy beautiful authentic pub near Wells. We had sirloin steak, cooked perfectly and delicious. Not sure why but I never had Madri beer and it was amazing. Also our little king Charles Spaniel loved his locally sourced treat which kept him busy throughout our dinner and after :) BTW, the cute little puppy on the pillow is (very close to) the owners puppy who passed 6 weeks ago.”

  “The chef does a wonderful job, his food tastes delicious and the portions are so generous. Couldn't fault any of the food we had, tasted amazing and the chef even asked us personally after his shift if we enjoyed his dishes. You can tell from his food that he is passionate about what he does and it truly pays off. If ever in or passing the area we will certainly go out of our way to visit again!”
