  “⭐ 1 Star (Would be 0 if I could) I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was so poor that I feel compelled to warn others. We spent £31 on our order, which included salt and pepper chips, salt and pepper shredded chicken, chicken and sweetcorn soup, and a house special starter for two. Unfortunately, every aspect of the order was disappointing. The food arrived cold, and several of the cartons were squashed. The salt and pepper chips were nothing more than plain chips with some cold onions thrown on top. The salt and pepper shredded chicken was cold, overloaded with raw vegetables, and appeared undercooked. The chicken and sweetcorn soup was only lukewarm, extremely watery, and completely lacking in flavour. The house special starter was equally poor. The ribs were cold, chewy, and contained very little meat. The spring rolls were soggy and cold, while the crispy seaweed had no flavour whatsoever and appeared to be saturated in oil. Presentation was non-existent, and the overall quality was far below what would be expected from any takeaway. The food was simply inedible, resulting in us having to bag everything up and contact the restaurant. Unfortunately, the customer service was just as disappointing as the food. When we explained our concerns, the staff were rude, dismissive, and appeared more interested in fobbing us off than resolving the issue. It was only after a much firmer conversation that we were reluctantly offered a refund, on the condition that we returned all of the food. Upon returning to the premises, the lady behind the counter spoke to us in an extremely unpleasant manner and then proceeded to throw the refund money onto the counter rather than hand it over respectfully. Poor food, poor service, and a complete lack of professionalism from start to finish. I will never order from or visit this establishment again, and unfortunately cannot recommend it to anyone.”

  “Cannot fault this place. We have a takeaway from Golden Sunrise at least twice a month and honestly have never been disappointed. The food is always top notch, tasty, hot, filling with huge portions. Fantastic value for money. Honestly, 10/10. Recommend the Singapore Fried rice and OK ribs.”

  “Would give 0 if I could. Overpriced stale food. The chips are stale definitely are pre cooked then finishes off when required, the curry sauce is usually a perfect way to rehydrate the chips but the sauce is so salty it’s actually inedible.”

  “It's a small takeaway but the food and the portions are great. I had sweet and sour beef which had lots of ginger in it. The duck spring rolls were fantastic. They now accept card payments.”

  “Lovely food. Had shredded beef and pineapple, with salt and pepper chips and separate pepper sauce (spicy as requested) and special Wandering Dragon (more like a black bean sauce with spices) with fried rice. Fast delivery, Hot food, reasonable prices. I rang rather than using Just Eat...would recommend and use again.”
