  “I stopped by this eatery as i was passing through Walsall and was pleasantly surprised but the interior and the decor. It was an inviting and relaxing environment as I attended early afternoon so the atmosphere was quiet. I opted for a chicken and pasta (Mango and lime) flavour that was exquisite to every extent fully satisfying my hunger making it a divine experience.”

  “Merigo Walsall has quickly become my favourite food spot in Walsall. The food is always fresh, clean, and full of flavour, and you can really tell that they care about the quality of what they serve. It’s one of the few places where you know you’ll get consistently great food every time you visit. What really makes the place stand out, though, is the customer service. The team are always welcoming and friendly, which makes the whole experience even better. A special mention has to go to Alishba — her customer service is on point. She’s always polite, attentive, and makes sure customers feel looked after. It’s rare to see service that good these days, and it really makes a difference. Overall, Merigo Walsall has definitely become my go-to spot. Great food, a clean environment, and top-tier customer service every time.”

  “Piri Piri chicken made fresh and outstanding taste. A variety of flavours with each one of them a unique pleasure. Loaded fries were excellent. The cheese looked like it could stretch for miles. Wasn't too busy during peak hours and seats were still available. The prices were slightly higher than average but the quality wasn't disappointing. Would definitely come here again.”

  “First time trying this place. Pleasantly surprised. The prices were very reasonable and a good selection on the menu. We opted for the butterfly peri burger with peri chips. Food came out reasonably quick and the food was piping hot. The burger was really delicious. Well seasoned and the chicken was very moist. We also ordered a quesadilla which was also really flavoursome and tasty. An overall 10/10.”

  “I went to MeriGo Piri Piri Walsall today for the first time and my experience was fantastic. The place was nicely decorated and very clean. I was served by lovely Gori today and she was friendly and knowledgeable about the foods. I had questions regarding the foods I was ordering because my children have allergies. I loved the foods. I will definitely be going back in the future. It's nice to have something like this on my door step! Keep it up MeriGo Walsall👏🏼”

  “The merigos whole chicken was absolutely amazing, Perfectly balanced flavors, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection, not to forget the amazing ice drinks they complimented very well, great ending to a delicious meal. It’s a must-try for anyone visiting merigos. I got to say hands down, some of the best food I’ve had recently. The freshness of the ingredients and the unique flavors were unforgettable. Highly recommended for food enthusiasts, without any doubt i give this place 10 out of 10. Phenomenal atmosphere and service. Keep it up guys. Well done 👏”

  “Absolutely love Merigo Peri Peri! The food is always fresh, full of flavour, and perfectly cooked every time. The chicken is juicy and tender with just the right amount of spice, and the peri fries are seriously addictive. The staff are really friendly and make you feel welcome the moment you walk in. Service is quick, the restaurant is clean, and the atmosphere is relaxed — perfect for a casual meal with friends or family. Great value for money and consistent quality — definitely one of the best peri peri places around. Highly recommend the grilled chicken and garlic mayo combo! 🔥🍗”

  “First off, they didn't lie about their 50% offer, there first video post said they will have 50% offers from their menu, not that it was their full menu. Later posts show what the discounted items were. Atmosphere is very clean and service is very good. Even though it was packed staff was still coming to clean tables. Very nice cashier lady too. Food wise though... quite bad. Fries was good, and their rice is tasty. However, their main actual chicken is a let down. I had extra hot yet it just tastes like lemon. Not spicy at all. I had the chicken wings but the texture of the chicken is just wrong, very dry and just looks like sauce is brushed on top and slightly grilled. The sauce is nice, but as I said it just tastes like lemon and not spicy, and the sauce just disguises the fact the chicken is not tender, it's super dry and quite rough to take apart. Burger bun is thankfully not brioche, but I ordered a extra hot burger yet the fillet was normal/plain and just had a mayo. While the burger is good, it's not exactly what they advertise. It's just a plain grilled chicken burger with mayo, disappointing when I again had ordered extra hot! The chicken is just mild and the sauce just taste like peri style lemon. That's it. Not chilli and spices. It's great we're getting more food places in Walsall, but I wouldn't recommend Merigo just for their chicken. It's disappointing and dry, despite it being slathered in the sauce they used to disguise it. Don't be fooled just because they put so much sauce on, the inside of the chicken is so dry! The food needs improving but the staff and general look of the place was very welcoming and I hope they do last long in Walsall which is really lacking in food places. I'm sick and tired of the same chicken or burger places drowned in sauces!”
