  “I absolutely love coming to mehfil with my family. The food never fails to disappoint the customer service is always over and beyond. I have a daughter with special needs. The workers ensure we are looked after. I have loved the food each time I visit. Always fresh clean and lovely variety for kids.”

  “I ordered a large Nihari and they sent only 2 pieces of lamb. £14 for two pieces of meat. The flavour of the sauce was good, but if a large is only 2 pieces of meat, then how small is a medium Nihari? This place isn’t good value for money. So I wouldn’t recommend it if you want decent portions. Unless you’re okay with paying £7 per piece of meat.”

  “Placed an order for 25 people breakfast the night before. I travelled in from a different town and everything was ready bang on time. Food was fantastic and service provided was amazing. Highly recommended”

  “Went from derby on a Saturday, upon arrival we was greeted and seated, after a short wait our was taken and 10 mins later we was asked to go to the cafe nextdoor as breakfast area was there, we went there and 2 female customers from the restaurant came a few mins later ( possibly had the same experience) about a further 10/15 mins later the food arrived and I had touched the parata but the ladies complained that originally they came before us in the restaurant area ( this was correct) the female staff quickly took our food and gave it to them saying it was a error. Further 10 mins wait our food came. Rude customer service and very basic food only decent item was the halva”

  “I ordered the lamb karahi as a takeaway and was really impressed. The meat was cooked perfectly — very tender and full of flavour. I also had roti with it, which was soft, warm, and fresh. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and I noticed the restaurant owner personally greeting customers as they came in, which created a really nice atmosphere. The seating area looked fresh, clean, and well maintained. Prices are also very reasonable for the quality of food and service. I would definitely recommend this place and will be ordering again.”

  “I ordered a karahi and a special dish of theirs. They did not cooked the karahi and made us wait. They served the special dish and the waiter said it's a starter so he served it but actually it's main dish. And top of that the chef was being rude when I talked to him. The chicken pieces were not cooked enough . You can see it in the picture. I will not suggest my enemy to eat here.”

  “Absolutely beautiful and clean interior. Fantastic customer service from Zain. We ordered the large tawa. A very good variety of items on menu. They kindly added the chicken biryani as we weren't keen on kabuli pilau.”

  “My friend and I drove two and a half hours from Reading just to have lunch here — and it was totally worth it! The food was absolutely top-notch. The management was excellent, the staff were neat and clean, and the owner was incredibly welcoming. The food was so amazing, I honestly have no words to describe it — it was truly a great meal. A wonderful experience all around!😋😋♥️♥️♥️”

  “First time I been here. Was a very very long wait. You can tell the place is new as staff were a bit clueless and not in sync with each other. Very disorganised and disjointed and this was happening all infront of me as a customer stood at the counter. Worryingly one of the chefs cooking my chicken wasn't sure if it was cooked properly. He asked 2 people who didn't know so I told him to show it to me as no-one else was helping. The timing of food was so bad. They made the fried chicken burger first which doesn't take long. That was ready and sat in a box sweating as I continued to wait for the grilled chicken tikka and kebabs which obviously takes longer. The Chapli kebab was fried and took the longest. I just didn't understand the timeliness of the order. I waited 30 mins in total. It was as if they were making one thing at a time despite having tons of staff. Food flavours was bland on the loaded chips. Skewered seeks kebabs were okay but not memorable as was the chicken tikka.Chapli kebab was decent. I woukd defo give this place another try but not overly impressed. Menu looks good and venu has seating so its enticing but that's as far as it goes so far.”

  “Came here for dinner and ordered a bit of everything - mixed grill (chicken kebabs, wings, tikka, lamb chops, masala fish), palak gosht, kheer, and ras malai. The food was overall very good - the masala fish, palak, and ras malai were standouts, packed with flavour and perfectly cooked. The rotis were soft and fresh, and the lamb chops were juicy and well seasoned. The chicken wings and tikka were juicy too, but could’ve done with a little more seasoning to bring them to the same level. Service was solid, staff were attentive throughout, and the place was clean and well kept. Would happily come back, especially for the fish and curries!”
