  “Tried to book via telephone but couldn't get an answer, tried over 5 different days so booked online as I assumed they were just busy. Our night out was for my sons 15th birthday as he really wanted a nice steak. The service was lacking from the moment we got there, we were shown to our seat by a very young helpful but very inexperienced and didn't appear to have any guidance whatsoever. Once seated, we waited approximately 25 minutes before my wife had to go and find someone so we could order drinks. The place by the way had 4 people there when we arrived so was pretty much empty. We ordered our drinks and meals at the same time. The food did take a reasonable time to arrive in all honesty and was very good and well worth the price. Although when 4 out of the 5 meals we ordered arrived, my wife was told that they didn't have what she had ordered so she had to order something different and then wait for it to be cooked whilst we were all sat with our food, not wanting to start eating as we all wanted to eat together. In the end we all tucked in, with myself sharing my meal with my wife until i went down to chase my wifes meal whic arrived shortly after. We had been looking forward to this meal for a long time so it was such a shame when a restaurant cannot get the simplest things right. Again, the food was spot on, we cannot complain about how it tasted, most of us left empty plates. The price was reasonable, we had 2 tomahawk steaks and 3 burgers plus drinks and the bill was just shy of £150, so not bad at all. Would we return? Probably not.”

  “The old saying goes well for this place… Never judge a book by its cover! The interior needs a good refurb, the upstairs corner was sectioned off due to there being a big hole in the floor through to downstairs and we had little ones to watch. With that being said our food was outstanding, the chicken was succulent, the steaks were tasty and cooked to perfection and the chips were homemade too 👌 Service was friendly and accommodating. Will definitely visit again.”

  “The food was presented really well and everything seemed fresh. The steak was tasty but a little heavy on the garlic seasoning, which overpowered the flavour at times. The homemade chips, however, were excellent. Unfortunately, the condiments didn’t feel like the best quality, which let the overall experience down a little. On the positive side, service from the young lady hosting was efficient, friendly, and attentive – she really made the visit pleasant. The restaurant itself feels a little tired, and there was a noticeable damp smell on entering, which detracted from the atmosphere. If the space and a few details like condiments were improved, it would go a long way to making this restaurant much better.”

  “Came here today (14.02.2025) for a galantine’s meal with my mom soon as we got in it felt cosy and welcoming and the staff were so polite when we got upstairs it got even better for a person who suffers with severe anxiety I loved how quiet and peaceful it was , I could enjoy my meal without feeling anxious and looking around, the staff were so polite and welcoming, they made sure everything was perfect!. Well the food was outstanding compliments to the chef, I’ve been to a lot of steak houses and this one is the best of them all, my steak was cooked to perfection, everything we had from the sides to the main dishes and starters was 10/10 such tasty food full of flavour. Will most definitely be visiting here again and very soon !!! Amazing food. Was going to have dessert but was to full 😂, extra points aswell because they served my favourite vegetable broccoli and it was cooked perfectly. What we had STARTERS/SIDES- cheesey garlic bread, bbq chicken bites , onion rings. MAINS- cheese and bacon burger with chips, sirloin steak chips veg and mushroom sauce.”

  “Went here last night for our wedding anniversary and the food was absolutely amazing. Me and my husband loves burgers and steaks so perfect place for us. The service was great, polite waitress and food came really quick. It was quite in there but we personally prefer that. Will definitely be going back”

  “No words to describe how tasty and wonderful this food was, don't let the prices scare you, the portions are huge with a very unique taste. Menu has something for everyone from fried shrimp to Stakes and nuggets for kids. It's well worth to pay the little extra for this kind of experience! Will definitely visit again!”

  “Had to pay £5 deposit per person for a table of 5 for a Friday night arrived and there was only another table in there the whole night They didn't have any sirlon steak which was the cheapest steak to have. So had a 'going solo' as it was the next best option for the price, which was Steak, chicken, lamb and 3 chicken wings chips and coleslaw and salad. Chips were perfectly seasoned and a change to normal steak chips. Would of liked some onion rings to be added. I had a pint of coke and they said that they don't do pints it would be two cans which cost £5.00 for two cans of pop! The young girl working was lovely and very chatty.”

  “Went here for the first time last night for my birthday and I have to say I was totally impressed. From the point of making the reservation until leaving the service and the staff were spot on and very accommodating bearing in mind we were a large group of 18. I am not a steak lover but having had some last night it sure has changed my mind. Totally recommend this place and I will deffo be visiting again.”
