Customer Review Summary
Service is the other recurring complaint. Reviewers describe an order taker as rude, and one was refused a replacement burger. Another was told that two extra cups were not free, then told the chips they had paid for were not ordered until the person who took the order confirmed otherwise. One reviewer praises friendly staff and a clean place. Another calls the service good but did not enjoy the food.

“Ordered the spicy fillet burger via Uber eats and honestly the spicy sauce doesn’t taste good and it overpowers the burger. The biggy sauce on the side tastes like someone has vomited and put it back in the sachet. Only good things were the fries and that’s probably because I was hungry. Avoid it guys, spend ur money elsewhere.”

“It's nice place, good service but I didn’t like food. Every person has different taste. If I didn’t like their food, it didn’t mean their food is not good. I am sure lot of people love their food and I honestly respect that. I wish them success.”

“I ordered a double cheese burger meal with a drink and a separate milk shake and some sides. The burger should not have been spicy so why on earth was it. If this was my usual mak halal, they wouldn't have screwed up. Please walsall respect what yiur customers want, dont make what you think your customers want.”

“Food quality is not good as compared to other branches of MAK halal. In every branch they serve burgers and sandwiches covered so thats easier to eat but at this branch not wrapped and sandwich was just like flood in the tray. Gen Z boy at the Reception was unable to define the flavours and food taste was not good like other branches. Also fries portion was very small and they were like last remaining bits. The staff at this branch need a review of their training. Pizza size was also very small, wasn’t look like medium. Hope it will be done and this branch also serve good like other branches.”

“I wish I could give 0 stars. I used to be a regular here because of the food, but after my experience last Friday night, I will never return—even for free food. The person taking orders was incredibly rude and unprofessional. It makes complete sense now why this place is dead when it used to be packed. To make matters worse, the portions are tiny for what they charge, and while the taste was fine overall, one of our burgers was cold and stale. Unless management turns things around fast, this place won't last much longer.”
