  “Visited with family and friends and had a brilliant experience! The lamb and chicken curries were delicious, packed with flavour and cooked to perfection. The mixed grill was absolutely sensational, arriving sizzling hot at the table and making a real impression. There’s also a fantastic range of draught beers to choose from, making it the perfect place to enjoy a proper meal with a good pint. A great combination of quality food, generous portions and a welcoming atmosphere. Perfect for a meal out with family and friends. Definitely worth a visit, and I’ll certainly be coming back!”

  “Just a review to say WOW!! I came here last night (12th September) and was so impressed from the start, the warm welcome, seated in a lovely area, all waiters were so polite and friendly, gave us some time to look through the Menu and not rush us, but the real review is in the food! I'm a basic girl and always have massala lol, but last night I had the Chicken Biriyani and asked for a mild curry sauce, and it was out of this world! I had cheesey naan and it was the best cheese naan I've ever had, so soft and melted and tasty! And the salt and pepper chips were gorgeous! We shared those as there was plenty, i even brought the rest home with me as couldn't eat it all 🤭 but oh my..... you get a 10/10 5* off us! I used to come before when it was The Royal Oak but haven't been since 2024.. One thing I will say is though, the music is a bit too loud, can't hear ourselves when having conversations and with everyone else having to talk louder due to the music, it was too overwhelming, maybe turn it down to a much nice calmer setting, not everyone likes that loudness when going for a meal. But we will return for sure 😀😀😀😀”

  “The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was top class—friendly, welcoming and attentive throughout. The inside is beautifully decorated, with a great atmosphere, and the massive screens make it an excellent place to enjoy live sporting events. There is also plenty of convenient parking, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food and experience. I would happily recommend The Royal Ivy Bar & Grill and will definitely be returning.”

  “First time attending this restaurant, service was brilliant. Table was ready on arrival and staff were really attentive and polite! Food and drinks arrived in great time, and tasted amazing! Everything was full of flavour and cooked to everybody's taste as requested. Will certainly be returning. Thanks for a great quality meal! (Not everything was photographed).”

  “I remember this place from a few years ago was a different type of restaurant. Was nice inside food was good 👍. We had a lamb curry not much meat in the curry. Over all its ok.”

  “This was my first visit to the restaurant since the new owner took over, and I was very impressed. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the Butter Chicken, which was rich in flavor and perfectly cooked. The naan bread was incredibly soft, fresh, and very tasty. The staff were polite, friendly, and attentive, making us feel welcome throughout our visit. The interior design was beautiful, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the music added to the overall dining experience. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to visiting again.”
