  “10/10. The food was outstanding!!!! The flavours were unbelievable. The best food I have tasted both in Birmingham and in Sutton Coldfield. I would recommend this place. I would recommend the Nepali/himilayan roti's to have with the Chicken Tikka Masala. I ate every bite and cleaned the plate. 100% authentic. Customer service was warm, friendly and brilliant. Really down to earth. Fantastic for dietary requirements. Vegetarian, gluten, halal, allergy friendly. Thank you for an amazing night.”

  “I have lived in Sutton Coldfield for a number of years now and have driven past Himalayan Grill countless times, but never actually gave it a try. I'm so glad I finally did! I also wasn't aware that all of their meat is halal, so I was really pleased to discover that as it meant I could enjoy their food. Today's pregnancy cravings were calling for some desi food, so I ordered the non-veg thali, chicken karahi and tandoori rotis. They also included complimentary poppadoms with mango chutney, mint sauce and onions, which was a lovely touch. The non-veg thali was an incredibly generous portion. It included dahl, chickpea curry, chicken handi, lamb gosht, palak and rice, and it even came with a warm gulab jamun for dessert. Such a lovely little treat after all those rich, savoury flavours! Every single dish was delicious and full of flavour. The thali alone would have been enough, but I couldn't resist trying the chicken karahi too, and I'm so glad I did. It was really tasty, and I loved that it had generous chunks of peppers and onions throughout, which added a lovely bit of crunch and texture. As someone who is South Asian but has never tried Nepalese food before, I'd say the dishes I tried today felt much closer to Pakistani-style seasoning than Indian. The flavours weren't overloaded with spices, but they were beautifully balanced and incredibly delicious. I will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommended! 😋”

  “Came here for a Father’s Day meal with the kids and my partner. The food was lovely and the service was great too. The kids loved the mixed grills meats, and they are usually quite picky. Will definitely come here again.”
