About Café Ventoux
Café Ventoux is a cafe in Tugby on Tugby Orchards, sharing its site with a large bike shop. Cyclists can lock up at the bicycle parking and stop for a drink and a bite, which makes it a practical halt for riders. The cafe sits among fields and rolling hills, and the approach is a walk up to the door. Inside, the counter serves sausage rolls and scones alongside flat white coffee. Seating is indoors, and the food menu covers both hot and cold options, including a roast dinner on Father's Day.

Customer Review Summary
Cake is the most common thing reviewers mention, enjoyed alongside a latte, flat white or tea and described as nice, fresh and great. Cyclists make up much of the praise, with several riding over for coffee and cake and calling it a go-to stop with indoor and outdoor seating. Close behind are the sausage rolls, called extremely tasty, and a bean shakshuka with sausage that one diner found delicious, though the bread was too thin for them. Staff are repeatedly called friendly and helpful. The caveats are specific. A self-described coffee snob compared the coffee to a big bowl of milk, one Father's Day visit found no free tables and only a roast dinner available, and one reviewer called the place pricey. Another waited for fries that never arrived, was told there was no order on record, and was offered a cake instead of a refund or a fresh order.

“A great cafe to cycle to, there is bicycle parking available as well as car parking too. You’ll always be greeted by friendly faces and food & drink choices for all occasions, from coffee and cake on your bike ride to a big lunch with lots of choices and everything in between. Highly recommend to visit!”

“Really lovely place to visit, another great discovery, my friend and our partners are touring as many Lincolnshire ( although this isn't in Lincolnshire , but close enough) eateries as possible during the summer months on our touring quad bikes, finding these places is a treat, The staff were really lovely, tea was perfect, cake was great.. The weather was perfect.. The venue is great.. On days like this you can't ask for more..”

“Visited here for the first time on a hot day with two friends. Sat outside for lunch. It is on the pricey side, but that is probably a good thing as it seems very civilised and quiet. I then took my Husband on Father's day, however there were no tables as it was very busy.. The staff were happy to accommodate us with a table inside, although as only a roast dinner was available we decided to leave. The staff were lovely, accommodating and polite. I will be a regular visitor of this cafe. Baby changing facilities also on site.”
