What reviewers say
Reviewers most often mention lemon curd meringue pancakes, steak sandwich, veggie breakfast and cakes.
Customer Review Summary
Pancakes lead the praise, especially the lemon curd and meringue version, described as full of flavour, hot and fresh, while another brunch diner found the pancakes deep and tasty. Close behind are a steak sandwich on good bread with chips, a well cooked veggie breakfast, and a chai latte. A sausage bap, granola and the cakes also get mentions. The setting earns repeated compliments for its atmosphere and variety of seating, and several reviewers call the staff friendly and polite. Service and value draw more mixed comments. One diner waited a long time for a soft drinks order, another found the staff unfriendly and the menu a tad overpriced for a casual visit, and one regular found the veggie sausage a bit "floral". The sharpest food complaint came from a reviewer who felt the cooking did not match the lovely room, describing a single slice of thin toast cut into two triangles, each topped with a watery poached egg.

“Best chai latte ive had for a while. The staff were friendly there was no waiting time, we only ordered drinks and one dessert but they were with us very quick once my 17 year decided what he wanted. Highly recommended to me and I will pay it forward”

“We recently heard about this place and the delicious food served in the restaurant and couldn't wait to try for ourselves. In a great location and the restaurant was very nicely decorated with a variety of tables to accommodate any size party. Food was yummy and well presented. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. There is a pet shop here and a farm shop with some really great products to buy. Fantastic place!”

“I’ve visited Pennbury Farm twice in the last three weeks, and on both occasions it has been outstanding! The staff are always so polite, friendly and helpful, and of course, the food is fresh and absolutely delicious. I mustn’t forget to mention the cakes — they are absolutely gorgeous! 🍰😋 I would definitely recommend Pennbury Farm and will certainly be visiting again.”

“We went here for brunch and the staff were amazing. The food, well what can I say? Everything tasted amazing and the pancakes were so deep and tasty. We will return, maybe at a lunchtime to try something of that menu next time. A great find!!”

“A great place to come if you want to treat yourself for an occasion. The lemon curd and meringue pancakes are nothing short of perfect. They are full of flavour, hot and fresh. I also love having a sausage bap, or a bowl of granola - but the lemon pancakes are perfection and there’s no other word for them. The atmosphere is a nice one to dine in, there’s a variety of seating options, and it is friendly for everyone of all ages.”
