About Bruberry
Bruberry is a cafe on Moat Rd in Leicester, and a fresh rose is placed on each table for guests seated there. The counter fridge displays fresh croissants and paninis, while the kitchen turns out English breakfast, French toast, and a chicken waffle dish alongside egg bhurji and avocado on toast. Karak chai is served alongside the coffee menu, and afternoon tea is offered for special occasions. Food is prepared fresh to order, so a wait can build during busier periods. The cafe opens every day except Tuesdays, and reservations are recommended for a table. Parking on the street nearby is limited.

Customer Review Summary
Brunch is the clear draw at Bruberry, with the egg bhurji, churros French toast, and avocado smash drawing repeated praise for arriving fresh and well cooked, and the fried chicken burger and chicken waffle dish also singled out for flavour. Many describe the desi breakfast and full English as comforting and freshly prepared, with the karak chai and afternoon tea selection also mentioned favourably. Service is repeatedly called friendly and welcoming, with one reviewer recalling being offered a complimentary coffee after being spotted teaching a cycling class in the rain, and another noting food is made fresh even when it slows things down during busy periods. One dissenting review describes a full English with undercooked eggs, deep fried hash browns, and sausages that didn't meet expectations, plus a chicken salad described as vinegary and dry, and disputes over whether the sausages were halal and the orange juice freshly squeezed, though that reviewer still found the decor and service acceptable. Several say they return again and again, particularly for the French toast platter.

“Absolutely top-notch place! Big shoutout to Malik for the amazing service – proper friendly lad who looked after us from the minute we walked in. Even though it was only 9am and breakfast was being served, they had no problem making us proper meals. My mate went for the Caesar sandwich, and I ordered the fried chicken burger with chips. The burger was banging, and the chips were unreal – crispy, fresh, and full of flavour. Great food, great service, and a brilliant atmosphere. Definitely a place I'll be coming back to. Highly recommend!”

“After numerous visits to Bruberry each as exceptional as the last, I wanted to share my honest and sincere thoughts on this amazing Bistro cafe. As a cycle instructor based across the entire city of Leicester I get to explore many and varied cafes and establishments and I can hand on heart say that Bruberry is as outstanding as they come. The front of house and customer service are brilliant, welcoming, attentive, consistent and responsive. This was made abundantly clear by my introduction to Bruberry... where the owner witnessed me coaching my class within the local area (within the pouring rain) and kindly offered my a complimentary coffee to brighten my day... which it absolutely did ...and if thats not exceptional hospitality I don't know what is. Might I also add they were very busy but he still took the time to reach out. This excellent service is married with the most amazing food, which has a unique fusion of cultural influences which are delicious, from savoury to sweet treats, all have been yummy and delish combined with some delightful surprising twists. I sincerely urge and recommend you make time to visit and explore Bruberry and its menu... it will be the first of many... its definitely on my go to.”

“First time visiting this lovely place today and I had a great experience. I tried the avocado smash for breakfast with the karak chai and thoroughly enjoyed it, the poached eggs were cooked perfectly. The atmosphere and overall vibe were really lovely. I’ll definitely be visiting again to try more items on the menu.”
