“Really lovely tasty lunch, good value, nice staff and beautiful gardens. My only criticisms are that it’s too well hidden and not advertised enough and the menus should be put out on the tables - I had to go in and ask.”

Home grown beetroot, tomatoes etc all served with a chunk of wholemeal bread + butter, absolutely delicious 😋 Husband had the BBC toasties, bacon, brie, chutney again delicious 😋 Sat outside in the lovely gardens, perfect spot.”

“Set inside the castle walls you'll find Fork n Feast café just a short walk from the centre of Great Torrington next to the carpark. Great homemade food and cakes, good service, clean and value for money. Veggie options on the menu. Plenty of seating inside and outside in the private garden. Wheelchair access and parking no problem.”

“What an absolute real Gem of a café. The food was spectacular. I want to return today to have more. Have made plans to meet another friend there for lunch. Fresh food, fabulous portions. I choose the Feta frittata , with new potatoes and salad. It was spectacular. The salad wasn't just a few leaves but a mixed salad, with carrot, beets, Tom's, cucumber and offered 3 types of dressing. The potatoes were seasoned and warm and the frittata was warm to. Very impressed. My friend had a Prawn and Avocardo sandwich which was stuffed, and a beautiful salad. Coffee was strong and hot.perfect. and they had oat milk. Bonus. And sell Exmoor tea, which I love . The cakes looked amazing, but I couldn't eat any more that Lunch time. Satisfied lunch meal. Lovely friendly staff and owners, They should be proud. Love the local Art displayed. And the gardens surrounding the building. Will most definitely return. Lots. Thank you Fork'n'Feast. 😋😋😋😋”
