  “Had a wonderful late lunch at Visto Lounge! We walked in without a reservation and were seated straight away, although it’s probably worth calling ahead to check availability, especially during busier times. The ambience is fantastic—relaxed, stylish, and perfect for a leisurely meal. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff throughout. The food was superb, and the drinks menu had a great selection. Definitely a place I’d recommend and would happily visit again!”

  “Came here as a table of 4. Only ordered a dessert and everyone else ordered a main. Everyone got their food except for me and I had to wait 40 mins just for my dessert just because they kept it on hold until mains were finished. We all ordered separately exactly at the same time so that we could eat all together. If they’d just use their common sense we wouldn’t have had this problem. So I came to have lunch with friends only just to eat by myself👍🏽 at this point I didn’t want it anymore. No apology given either.”

  “Delicious breakfast muffin, egg perfect, bacon the best I've tasted in years. Coming back for dinner tonight... Dan Dan Noodles with chicken. No diet lemonade on sale (peak summer and hot). Interior feels spacious and boho chic. Service was efficient. Half full when I visited. A little more of the famous Devon warmth would be welcome. Menu prices June 2026.”

  “Great food best this holiday hands down. Menu has an interesting asian fusion with Latin... Is our go to restaurant even though we're trying to see others. You want convenient location, great food with the sea a few steps away, this is it for Torquay.”

  “This place, all I can say is, it’s a great and amazing place to hang out. Food is sooooo good. The staff are all fantastic. But I do want to send a big shout out to Billy the bartender, super nice guy. Very tentative, friendly excellent customer service, the vibe is warm. My friend and I shared 2 appies Duck pancakes, Cauliflower bites and a smashed cheeseburger that hits out of the park delicious… I highly recommend going there if you’re visiting or even if you’re a local and haven’t been. You have to check it out. 🇨🇦❤️”

  “Had a really great experience at Visto Lounge! The food was absolutely delicious – not just nicely presented but genuinely full of flavour. 🫡 The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, perfect whether you’re popping in for a quick bite or staying longer to unwind. 🧡 The staff really stood out as well – super friendly, helpful, and easy-going, which made the whole visit even better. Definitely a place I’d come back to and highly recommend!”

  “Visited Visto Lounge before attending the Theatre. It was really busy, we had one of the only tables that were free. We were seated by a really friendly lady (I think her name was Christine) and although the restaurant was busy this didn’t seam to phase her at all. She took the orders, and brought the drinks really quickly. The food was also really good, recommend the Louisiana chicken, very nice indeed. I would really recommend the place to anyone, the menu is varied with something for everyone, the food was excellent and staff were lovely, friendly and knowledgeable. Also I started my Lounges Passport, only anther 80 or ninety to collect and it will be full of stamps 😀”

  “It's a big place that feels big, could be a bit more homely. We were brought the wrong order meant for another table even though the tables are numbered. Eventually, our food came and it was really well prepared, great taste, just perfect. Overall friendly staff and good service. We hadn't reserved on a Sunday night but were seated promptly. Short wait time for our food. The selection of beers could be bigger and they could have a more interesting selection. They have plenty of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. Overall a pleasant experience.”
