“Came for the carvery and had a great experience. The atmosphere was very welcoming, and the portion size was spot on. There was plenty of meat to choose from, with three options available—or you can have all three if you prefer! Everything was delicious, and we'll definitely be visiting again.”

“Lovely welcoming atmosphere right as you step through the door. Staff are wonderful and very attentive. The carvery was spot on one of the best I’ve had for a while good selection of meat pork, beef and chicken. The cauliflower cheese is to die for! And homemade yorkshires too All round reasonably priced. My pics don’t do it justice lol”

“Bad food accompanied with a bad attitude from the so called manager. On holidays with family. Read the previous fake reviews and thought it sounded good. How wrong we were. Burger was undercooked in the middle. Took 2 bites then cut it in half. Pink. Sent it back only for the same burger to arrive back out a few minutes later, frazzled. Cheese all dried and sticky. Asked the waitress to take it away and strike it from the bill. When bill arrived she had charged me for half a meal. I asked her why she done that. Her reply was because I had eaten half the meal. I had a few chips and 2 bites of burger. She argued with me. After a brief argument she eventually took it off while muttering under her breath. I asked her what she had said. She said ITS NOT WORTH THE ARGUMENT. I was so disgusted with her attitude I asked for the manager. She told me she was the manager. Wow. So avoid this place at all costs. Few more minutes and you’re in Thirsk. Do not go to this hell hole.”
