About The Drink Valley Old Town
The Drink Valley Old Town is a pub on Devizes Rd in Swindon's Old Town, pouring its own house-brewed beers, including The Hop Father Pale Ale, across 6 cask hand pumps and 14 keg lines. A beer fridge stands alongside the taps, and the drinks list also covers real ales and both keg and bag-in-box ciders. The kitchen runs an Indian street food menu next to regular pub food, with onion bhajis among the small plates. Its curry night offer comes with a popadom and dip, a chicken or veg curry, rice and naan, and vegetarian and vegan options are available. Burgers and roast dinners cover the pub side of the menu, and a bottomless brunch is also on offer. A private dining room gives groups a space of their own, and dogs are welcome.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the curries, with the Thursday curry night built around onion bhajis, popadom and dip, a chicken or veg curry, rice, naan and a beer described as authentic and good value. Onion bhajis are praised as fresh, and one reviewer lists fish and chips and pork skewers as well presented and full of flavour. Close behind is the drinks range, with real ale, keg and bag in box ciders, and a beer fridge that several call stacked and interesting. Staff come up repeatedly as friendly and helpful, including a bartender who made accommodations for vegetarians and vegans. Others mention a bottomless brunch and Sunday roast dinners. The main caveat is the menu: one regular regrets that it has been reduced, though burgers remain a favourite, and a visitor who did not eat saw no lagers on tap. One reviewer says the bartender let them taste a beer before committing to a pint.

“We didn't eat but most people were there to eat. Seemed to have an Indian food style menu. Smelled really good to be fair. Only serve ales, and bitters. Didn't seem to do lagers on tap but maybe I just didn't see them. Prices of drinks were good for nowadays.”
