  “Taproom for the Hop Kettle brewery, which is also in Swindon. Has a range of unique cask and craft beers. I sampled a half of their cask barley wine, about 9%. It was really nice. I would have liked to try some other beers, but they called last orders at quarter to ten, and that was it.”

  “Stopped for a couple of pints with some friends while the sun was out! I’d never been but my friends couldn’t stop raving about it. How right they were! Staff are lovely, lovely seating area, inside and out! Pints were dreamy, loads of choice, staff are experts and supporting a local brewery is brilliant. Oh and, loyalty cards! Amazing.”

  “I had a Cortado from here that was so good and probably go back to Cortado. I’ve ever had on suggestion from the barista. I tried a Gibraltar afterwards and again was seriously impressed by the quality. This is top notch specialty coffee.”

  “Went in for a coffee and cake today and the coffee was very good. Great atmosphere. Very welcoming and they are happy for you to bring in your dog which is a bonus. The beer selection for the evening visit is very impressive! The cake wasn’t bad either. I’d rather support a local business than the American chains. An added bonus today is they had someone playing Christmas carols on an electric piano. A nice touch! Definitely recommend!”

  “Been here a few times now, bunch of lovely people serving every time I’ve been there and always up for a good chat about your day, interests and so on. Coffee is well worth the price and the cider is really moreish. Big up Ben and Henry, chill guys and make the best drinks. :)”

  “Went in the morning so was operating as a cafe not a brew pub, felt like prices were quite high given the size of the coffees however the standard of coffee was higher than usual (£4.20 for a Mocha). You’re paying for where you are, could see myself popping back in here and there but definitely won’t be rushing to return.”

  “Independent tap room selling cask and keg beers brewed in their own local brewery. The venue can be described as shabby chic with a lino floor which gives it character. Great selection of beers displayed on a board and screen. I visited just after opening at 4pm on a Friday and it was already busy with a varied clientele. Staff were knowledgeable and toilets were clean. Well worth a visit. I didn't eat so can't comment on food.”
