  “The food was perfect it was cooked very fresh. Very traditional and relaxing atmosphere. The staff were made aware of food allergies and intolerances and very helpful and educational and took a lot of care and attention to meet our needs. I cannot recommend this place more highly. The price is very reasonable and fair. I was so pleased I left a tip at the end of the meal. Would love to go back again”

  “Had an absolutely incredible meal last night on a date night with my wife—everything was bursting with flavor and clearly made with care. My chicken madras was superb as was my wife’s chicken tikka masala. The dishes tasted wonderfully authentic and brought back a real sense of nostalgia. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the staff/owners Ron and Jamal. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell they take real pride in what they do. The venue itself added to the whole experience—beautifully done with an authentic atmosphere from yesteryear that perfectly complemented the food. A truly memorable evening from start to finish. Highly recommend! Can’t wait to go back.”

  “Went to shimlas tonight for a date. Service was outstanding, lovely atmosphere. Staff made us feel very welcome. Incredibly good food for an even better price. I got the chicken tikka pathia, and my boyfriend got the lamb tikka bhuna. Both were excellent including the garlic and cheese naan, the pilau rice complimented the curry amazingly. Couldn’t reccomend it more, will definitely be visiting again. New lovely date spot”
