  “Warm welcome from friendly staff. Upstairs seating available for families and/or private gatherings. Good menu with the famous Bengali fish 'n' chips - which is definitely worth trying. Chips have lots of flavour and the fish is already flavoursome. Shatkhora doner is a really good choice too. You get to take a quick video/picture with the 'banging banging fire' chef! Free parking outside. Only inconvenience is that they accept cash only. Recommended.”

  “Don't believe the hype. The social media influences must have been paid to give good reviews. The food was so bland. I'm bangladeshi, I know what good food should taste like, especially fish. The 'famous' green fish and chip was tasteless, the batter on the fish was green probably from food colouring as there was no other flavour in it. Just go to any black country chippy you'll better fish. The massalla chips tasted like if had no massalla on it. The curry sauce was a lentil curry that had no spice. All this for £15.95 (at the time of writing this) is not worth. The staff were nice and the service was good but the food was big let down.”

  “Lower your expectations and then lower it even more. Never trust trending food on social media. Came here and ordered the Bengali Fish and Chips. It’s just a green fish and chip, a wasted opportunity for it to make it Bengali. Honestly I couldn’t taste the difference from a box average fish from a fish and chip shop. The masala fries aren’t nothing to write home about also. The kebab was better although I’ve had much better. Travelled all the way from London for this average to below average food. If you’re a local go for it but definitely not worth travelling from another city. Birmingham has always had average to below average food and should have just got something local in London. The service was okay, shame that it’s only CASH ONLY. Not much of an atmosphere, there was some sort of air conditioning near the entrance which made an annoying sound, was cold but not loud so you can have a conversation Would I come again? Definitely not UPDATE: watched a YouTube review from a white male who isn’t familiar with spice and he found it spicy so maybe let them know you can handle your spice and they can make it spicy for you”
