Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the roast meats, with the mixed roast dish and char siu pork named as the draw, though one says the duck skin was not as crisp as a restaurant's. Close behind are the noodles and the beancurd and char siu dish, and several describe food arriving hot, cooked well and full of flavour, with ample portions for sharing among friends and family. Takeaway customers mention prompt delivery, while diners describe a friendly greeting, helpful staff and a pleasant atmosphere. The main caveat is cost: one reviewer found the mixed roast portion small for its price and calls prices on the higher side, though another found them reasonable and a separate order of char siu alone came with plenty. Families describe children enjoying the complimentary prawn crackers and fortune cookies, and one visitor noted the fortune cookie held no message.

“We visited this restaurant after a long, tiring day at Chessington with children. We were served by a friendly, attentive lady. She was very helpful and went over and beyond for us. The food was delicious and the children enjoyed the complimentary prawn crackers and fortune cookies! Would definitely recommend.”

“My family; after a long day of travelling saw the reviews online and decided to give Seven Stars a go. On arrival we were met with a warm greeting and seated perfectly. Placed our order and the food (and tea) arrived hot. The ambiance is great and chairs are strong. Cookware is good quality. The food was amazing in taste. We do a lot of travelling around the UK and from a taste perspective this is one of the best flavours we have had! Would highly recommend if you live or travel through here.”
