Customer Review Summary
Service and savoury food draw the recurring complaints. Reviewers describe slow counter service, a staff shortage, and tables left uncleared with pots piling up. One reports a jacket potato with beans arriving cold and coming back cold again after being sent for reheating. Another says baked potatoes and soup ran out two days running, and a third found toasties and paninis lukewarm with barely any cheese and a bacon string of fat. One notes a panini had less filling than on a previous visit and wonders whether it is cost cutting.

“Nice selection of cakes as well as savoury dishes, good coffee too! Situated in the Broadstone Mill, ground floor, and great for a shoppers’ break.”

“Ordered jacket potato with beans and vegan cheese today . It came to table incredibly quickly and cold. Nothing worse than cold beans . I returned the dish requesting they heat it the same plate returned to the table within 4 minutes with cold beans yet again and a slightly warmer potato. Total fail the server was not very thorough with the reheating . For the price v disappointed . At least I ve been reminded of why I dislike cold beans”
