Customer Review Summary

The negatives are specific. Several one-star reviewers describe chips that were pale and barely cooked with a raw potato centre, or that tasted like cardboard, and one disliked a vegetable oil taste. Another reports dry donor meat and chewy chicken that they spat out. One says the fish was greasy and soggy. A regular says food bought just after opening looked like lunchtime leftovers kept warm, and another notes prices higher than other local chip shops.

“Avoid - Poor Quality of food. The chips taste like cardboard and that normally happens when they are quite old. The fish very greasy and soggy. Won’t be going back for sure.”

“Honestly one of the worst chip shop experiences I’ve had. The chips were pale, anaemic and barely cooked. Completely tasteless and with that raw potato texture in the middle, not even the curry sauce could save them. For the price, the potion size was great! Quality was a huge disappointment. More annoyingly my time, money and a meal were wasted.”

“Visited quite often but yesterday probably the last time. Food quality often variable but always good enough. Yesterday though I visited just after opening so expected stuff to be fresh, it wasn't. Looked at tasted like it was the left overs from the lunchtime opening that had been kept warm. Disappointing.”
