  “Visited 20/06/26 First time visiting Suzie’s for my friend’s birthday and it was amazing! The staff were lovely and attentive, as well as providing quick service. We sat on the terrance where it is beautifully decorated with flowers, and a great area for photo opportunities! The food was delicious and the cocktails were good. My friend also got a complimentary mini brownie to celebrate her birthday, which was a sweet gesture as she didn’t order a dessert. I highly recommend this place and looking forward to visiting again.”

  “Went here with friends today and such a lovely place. Staff really attentive. I had the Roast beef and it was delicious...the best cauliflower cheese I have ever tasted! My friends all had burgers and said the meat was beautiful. Definitely worth a visit”

  “First time visiting Suzies after hearing good things about this new venue. Upon arrival the manager named Sam seemed disgruntled that we had arrived despite having a booking made a week earlier. She informed her waitress that she will have to put us on the table just inside the door. There was no pleasant greeting or a smile to welcome us. Within minutes of sitting down we were the only ones seated within the inside area of the venue and could clearly overhear her very poor tone and barking of orders towards the rest of the staff. The waitresses who served us were very pleasant and welcoming, we can not fault the rest of the staff and their service, but having witnessed how they are spoken to by management I’ll be suprised if any stay working there for long as it was inappropriate to speak to anyone in this way and customers certainly shouldn’t be able to hear staff being chastised by their manager. It certainly provided us some unexpected entertainment. We ordered Panini’s and chips which were mediocre at best. My ham and cheese panini the cheese was not even melted and there was the smallest slither of ham. The steak ciabatta was dry and unseasoned, it was “alright” but did not match the expectation of the lovely venue. The experience overall felt rushed as we were very aware due to the manager’s orders that there was a 65th birthday at 5pm and they needed everyone out. Again we cannot fault the waitresses and bar staff they did their best to make us feel welcome despite their poor management. In this modern day and age it’s a shame that management still feel they can treat staff in this way and very disappointing, we won’t be returning.”

  “Best thing about this place is the venue itself, very pretty and feels elegant. We went for breakfast and found the service was slow, despite it being quiet. I always think it’s weird when you have to flag a waitress down to order a drink after 10 minutes of sitting there and then again to order- isn’t that their job? No children’s menu which was disappointing. The food was honestly average; came away thinking I could’ve made it better at home! Overpriced for tiny portions, you’ll leave feeling hungry. With so many other choices out there my family and I won’t be going back. Honestly, not worth the faff of trying to park near it (which is impossible). I’d recommend all the other wonderful places in Southport, like Arthur’s, Lord Street Cafe, Penelope’s and Emily’s in Formby.”
