“Love this pub. Been going years. Get the English breakfast it's awesome! Very friendly. Not the nicest pub inside but it's made up for with friendly staff. Super good food. Always extremely busy this place day and night. Which is a sign of good pub. Nice to go to watch events here too. Bar ok drinks average. Food price some things bit dear but most average some are even cheap for what you get. Honestly a top pub! Ee spent a fortune there. Wish it was a free meal every ten or something I'd have loads by now! Honestly great”

“I stopped off here for a couple of pints of very good cask ale and decided to have something to eat as well. I opted for the fish pie, which was piping hot and very tasty. One strange thing is that when I first arrived all of the tables had 'Reserved' labels on them. I asked a member of staff and she said to sit at any table I wanted. So don't be put off if it looks like all of the tables are reserved - they're probably not.”

“Been coming here for quite a few years and they always have a good selection of real ales and beers. They have a large menu with a wide choice. I had the Beef Stroganoff and it was really tasty. I would recommend trying it out. It always seems full every lunchtime we call in so would recommend booking in advance. The only downside is that they can take a while to answer the phone as I presume they're always very busy.”
