  “My children and I were visiting Southampton for the first time, the staff is friendly, welcoming. Hanah who was the manager on duty was ever so kind, and with her excellent hospitality, she convinced us to try the chocolate brownies with ice cream, a delight! If you're visiting Southampton Central, make sure you stop at that branch and encourage the fantastic young, and friendly team!”

  “This was my first time at Nando’s with my partner and I was disappointed to say the least : You pay around £15 for meals where the grilled chicken burger was one of the thinnest slices I’ve ever seen in chicken history, my sunset burger was overcooked in the chicken with the barbecue drizzle was really not satisfying at all. And the mix of a slice of cheese had a weird combination. And you’re telling me that I have to pay for drinks £4.25 for drinks it’s a bit exaggerated. I do have to say the fries and the coleslaw were good average at best. I’m not thinking of going back. I would not recommend especially of how pricey it is and how thin the chicken slice is”

  “The chicken was burnt and tried to make the manager that I am not happy about my food . He ignored me till I Followed him at the counter and complained again and that’s when he accepted to replace the order. This is not the first time I encountered this kind of behaviour from the same gentleman. I am not happy at all, I don’t know he treats me like this because of my skin colour. I have been eating Nando’s for the last 20 years so when I complain I know exactly what I am taking about”

  “visited Nando’s Southampton Westquay today for lunch with my partner. We ordered food and some drinks. My partner only wanted a small amount of Coca-Cola, and a staff member provided a small glass for us. Later, a manager (barry ) southampton west quay approached us and said that we had not paid for the Coca-Cola. I understand that drinks must be paid for, and I would have been happy to pay if asked. However, I was disappointed by the way the situation was handled. Instead of politely explaining the issue and offering me the opportunity to purchase the drink at the till, the manager was rude and simply took the drink away. I felt embarrassed and that the interaction was unnecessary and unprofessional. I have always enjoyed visiting Nando’s, but this experience left me feeling disappointed. I hope management will remind staff of the importance of treating customers with courtesy and respect when addressing any issues.”

The menu has a good variety of options, especially for people who enjoy grilled chicken with different spice levels. The food tastes good overall and the portions are quite satisfying. The service is usually efficient and the ordering process is simple. Since it is located inside a busy shopping centre, it can get crowded during peak hours, but the staff manage the flow quite well. Overall, it’s a reliable place for a casual meal if you are visiting Westquay and craving Nando’s flavours.”

  “Really great food, had slight issue with ordering via app due to WiFi issues, but staff helpful and we ordered at the bar! Food arrived really quickly and tasted delicious! The garlic pitta was fab, loved the festive bubble and squeak bites! All the food was spot on! Thank you”

  “Food was great took bit of time but was ok to wait, my main dispointment is the knife and spoons needs a good scrub not pleasant having them dirty and having myself to start scrubbing before eating my food as I should expect them to be cleaned.”

  “Really quick and friendly service especially for lunchtime in a busy shopping centre at Christmas! Food looked amazing on the outside but the reason for the 4 star is for the quality of the chicken- gristly, fatty and quite discoloured throughout. Had this the last few times I’ve been to Nando’s unfortunately!”
