Customer Review Summary
Sweet and sour prawns draw the most complaints, with reviewers describing the batter as mush or coming away from the prawn, the prawns rock hard or reheated, and the meal cold. Cold food runs through many of the negative accounts, alongside tasteless chicken fried rice with a bone in it, cold mini spring rolls, and chips that were hard and raw inside or overcooked. Chicken balls were called super greasy and chewy in places. One reviewer says burnt black bits turned up in the noodles and the prawns in the rice smelled off, and another reports a hair in the mixed vegetables. One who phoned to complain felt the owner may not have understood. Praise is a minority but specific: one reviewer found the chicken chow mein dry rather than slimy, smoky and full of meat, while another enjoyed tender BBQ spare ribs with egg fried rice cooked perfectly. Quick service and reasonable prices come up among the positives, and one reviewer who found the food tasty thinks the place is under-rated.

“Really enjoyed my meal here! I had the BBQ spare ribs with egg fried rice, and everything was really tasty. The ribs were tender with a delicious BBQ sauce, and the fried rice was cooked perfectly. The service was quick too, so it was a great choice for a fast, satisfying meal. I’ll definitely be back!”

“Usually okay food. Today the prawn balls were hard, the chow meins tasted dreadful and the chips completely overcooked and smelt gross.”

“Quick food, very reasonably priced and tasty. So under-rated in my opinion - why do people only post when it's gone wrong?!”

“Awful, worse Chinese meal I have ever had. Sweet and Sour Prawns were inedible. Batter was just a pile of mush, Prawns were rock hard, meal was cold. Complete waste of money. Would give 0 stars if there was an option. Never again!!”

“I love a good chow mein and all my life I thought that chow mein was supposed to be a little slimey due to the amount of oil needed to cook this dish. Until now Wow ! Chicken chow mein, dryer without the greasy slimey feel, full of flavour with a smokey feel and lots of meat ! I just want more !”
