“Last minute decision to have food out with my elderly mum on Saturday 3rd January for our late dinner, I have mainly used the West End for drinks in the past, and always had an instant welcome when walking through the door. When visiting my family in the village, I took mum and myself for our tea and cheeky drink. Although it was very busy, as soon as we entered we we're greeted by a member of staff "Vive" with a huge smile and warm welcome and were shown to a table which Vive instantly refreshed and sat us down. Vive went on to explain about ordering and making sure we knew we had options with how to order. My elderly mother was in a particularly chatty mood.. to which Vive took time to engage her in a short but lovley conversation that put a big smile on mums face, Vive was so attentive, personable and nothing was to much trouble. She really is a genuine asset and credit to the team at the West End. We wish there was a wonderful Vive in every establishment we vist, She made our evening, especially enjoyable and from start to finish and we had told the barman, what a credit to the company she is. Yours Happily, Sue and Joan.”

How this listing is sourced
- Where the data comes from
- Name, address, hours, contact details, amenities, ratings and review counts come from the business's publicly available profile data — not from the owner and not from paid submissions.
- How it stays current
- Every listing is re-checked on a recurring crawl, and anything reported as wrong is corrected at the source rather than patched on the page.
- How it is ranked
- Placement is never sold. Every business on the page is ordered and compared using the same public signals, so an owner cannot pay to move up.
