Customer Review Summary
Reviewers return mainly for the carvery, with the gammon and turkey singled out as really nice and portions big enough that one diner took leftovers home. Close behind are the breakfast buffet, with hot food and refillable tea and coffee including oat milk, and the play area, which parents say keeps children happy. The cake counter and the ice cream selection also draw praise. Staff are repeatedly described as friendly and welcoming, and several call the place good value. The main caveat is quality at the carvery. One reviewer found the beef pretty chewy and some vegetables not that nice, calling it quantity over quality, and another would like more veg and beef dripping potatoes. One notes the play area end is a bit noisy. A parking note from one reviewer is to register at the front kiosk screen, and one diner left stuffed to the gunwales.

“Last minute decision to pop out for a lunchtime carvery, although busy there was still plenty of parking available. There were a few people in the restaurant but not to busy, greated by friendly staff and given option of any table free as opposed to being told where to sit. Service was quick, chose the carvery option today, good choice of meat and plenty of sides available. Nice relaxing environment whilst we ate and the staff were on hand if we needed anything. Friendly staff, good food at a decent price, will be back again.”

“Great carvery. Loved the cake counter and the ice cream was very nice too. They have a great selection of ice creams as well. Plenty of parking, but ensure to register at the front kiosk screen.”

“Lovely inside and out, delicious food and good value for money. Inside play area is a plus so you can keep an eye on the kids if you haven’t eaten as fast as them, obviously a bit noisy the play area end which is expected 😄 will visit again.”

“Our favourite local place to come for buffet breakfast and carvery. It's affordable, Staff are friendly/attentive and kids are happy with the play area. Came here this morning and spent £12 for an adult breakfast, coffee, 2 juices, and kids ate free. What's not to like!?”
