Restaurant Romanesc Viollet Salon
Quick info
About Restaurant Romanesc Viollet Salon
On Cornwall Rd in Smethwick, Restaurant Romanesc Viollet Salon is a Romanian restaurant that also handles event planning and wedding services. The kitchen serves traditional Romanian dishes, brought to the table by staff rather than at a counter. Live music from lăutari, a traditional Romanian band, plays in the room, giving the space a live performance alongside dinner. The venue also hosts private events such as weddings, christenings, and anniversaries, making it suited to groups marking an occasion rather than a casual meal out. It opens only on Saturdays, in the evening, so the schedule runs to a single weekly sitting. Reservations are recommended given the limited opening window. Table service runs throughout the evening for parties gathering for both the meal and the music.
