Customer Review Summary
Chaat is what reviewers praise most, with samosa chaat, aloo tikki chaat, dahi puri and pani puri described as full of flavour and fresh. Close behind are the chole bhature, called very tasty by one diner, and the kadhi pakora, which a repeat customer orders again and again for its comforting flavour. Tandoori chaap and malai chaap also have fans, and several reviewers call the staff and owner friendly and welcoming. The complaints are specific. Two reviewers describe greasy food: tandoori chaap that smelled of cooking oil and seemed deep-fried, sour bhature that looked like puris, and a kulcha with too much oil and a stuffing that smelled spoiled. One of them also reports takeaway packaging that leaked oil. Two reviewers report unhygienic conditions, including no clean seating, floor or toilets, and one describes a disrespectful exchange at the counter. After a delivery driver took the wrong order, one customer says the restaurant suggested reordering the same food and offered an extra can of pop.

“Kadhi pakora is one of my absolute favourite dishes, and bobby’s Punjabi corner makes it SO good! ❤️ I honestly don’t even know how many times I’ve ordered it, and it never disappoints. The flavour is always perfect, the pakoras are delicious, and it tastes so comforting and authentic. Definitely my go-to dish here! 😍 Highly recommended!”

“What an absolute disappointment in their level of service and competency. Not just in taking orders but also in delivery and understanding which customer order should be for which customer. It seems like they just take orders and don’t actually pay attention or care towards providing orders. In store hygiene is appalling no clean seating, floor, or toilets and if you attempt to order online don’t waste your time!! Instead of coming to store I assumed ordering for delivery would be better! Much worse! Wrong order driver took the wrong order from the store, driver blamed restaurant and restaurant blamed the driver suggesting orders are placed on a side and not their responsibility to hand the correct orders to drivers so whose fault is it in the end! Drivers should not be blamed the restaurant should take ownership of they are providing online services!! I was advised to reorder the same food! Pay double to get it once and to sweeten the issue they would throw in an extra can of pop!!! Absolutely absurd!!! When ordering from here save yourself the time and order from somewhere, where the staff are competent at doing a basic job or handing the right orders to delivery drivers!! I mean it isn’t rocket science now is it! Hire better staff who know how to pay attention! Incompetence causes a lack of trust loss of business and credibility! Shame on you Bobbys Punjabi Food Corner - absolutely dismal customer service.”

“I didn’t have a good experience. I ordered kulcha, but it was very disappointing. There was too much oil on top, and the stuffing inside the kulcha had a bad smell, which made it seem spoiled. I really didn’t expect such poor quality food. I would not recommend anyone to try kulcha from here.”

“I am very disappointed with my experience We ordered the Tandoori Chap, which was listed on the menu as a tandoori item. However, when it arrived, the packaging was poor and leaking oil. After tasting it, it had a strong smell of cooking oil and seemed to be deep-fried rather than tandoori, which was misleading. We also ordered Chole Bhature. The chole tasted okay, but the bhature were disappointing. They tasted sour and looked more like puris in size of bhature than properly made bhature. In addition, we ordered an Aloo Tikki nodle noodle Burger that items were acceptable in taste but once again, the packaging was poor and leaking. Overall, all the food arrived in messy, oil-leaking packaging, which made the experience unpleasant. Considering the amount of money we spent, it felt like a complete waste. I would not recommend this place unless they improve both their food quality and packaging standards.”
