About Beachside Tavern
On Grand Parade in Skegness, Beachside Tavern is a gastropub and bar and grill that takes walk-ins rather than bookings. The kitchen serves fish and chips with mushy peas and bread and butter, and the bar pours soft drinks alongside beer and cocktails. Table service comes from a waitress rather than counter ordering. The entrance is step-free for visitors with mobility needs, and outdoor seating is available for those who prefer to sit outside. Dogs are welcome both inside and out, and high chairs are on hand for families with young children. The tavern opens daily, giving diners a consistent option throughout the week. There is no free WiFi on site, and the toilets are reserved for customers only.

“I gave 4* due to three things. The food was a little more expensive than a lot of places but tbf they probably have bigger overheads being so close to the sea. The second issue was when my son went to use the loo he was stopped and quizzed immediately and told only customers can use their toilets. Cmon guys, it’s a bloody loo and we were customers. Also there is no access to free WiFi. On the positive side the food was lovely and came relatively quickly considering how busy it was. We did have to ask the waitress to clean a table for us though as it was filthy. Having said all that, yes I will return.”
