Customer Review Summary
Seafood linguine is the dish reviewers name most. One diner calls the prawn linguine tasty and another calls the linguine ai frutti di mare fantastic, though a third found frozen prawns and mussels that needed lemon to mask the flavour. Close behind, the rigatoni with chicken and bacon is called gorgeous, the steak and seabass come with generous portions, and one diner calls the bruschetta particularly good while another objected to cream cheese on it. Pork belly splits opinion, with one reviewer finding plenty of protein and another finding dry pork. Complaints about the kitchen and welcome recur. A carbonara order arrived as a meatball pasta dish, a rare steak came overcooked, a pizza was burnt, and a Pollo Vesuvio arrived with chips and grated cheddar instead of pasta. Several describe cold, abrupt staff, and one party with a 7pm Saturday reservation stood in a crowded entrance before being seated. One reviewer reports finding shell in a pasta dish and receiving only an apology from a waitress.

“From the moment myself and family walked in I knew this wasn't going to be a pleasant experience - and I wasn't wrong. We were welcomed like we had farted at a funeral. Staff were cold and very abrupt and rushed us to our table... The food: amateur at best. My stepson ordered steak rare - it was overcooked. The pizza my youngest son had was burnt. And they screwed my order up - I ordered the carbobara and instead got some pasta meatball dish, when I questioned it I was given blank looks... To be brutally honest - we could had bought the food in a supermarket for fraction of the price and cooked it better! The prices - to be fair. Not too bad, but nowhere near worth what we were served tonight. First time visiting. And unfortunately it'll be the last... There are better Italian restaurants in Skegness.”

“An app I use found this place and counts calories from a photo of my plate. The pork belly had plenty of protein and hit my calorie limit without tasting like diet food. The room is clean and quiet.”
