About noon. bakery & coffeehouse
noon. bakery & coffeehouse is a coffee shop in Sidcup, at 45 The Oval, built around a "coffee in a can" concept, with iced coffees and matchas sold in cans. The drinks list also includes an iced matcha and a banoffee iced latte, and syrups can be added to drinks. On the food side, the bakery counter covers sandwiches, cakes and pastries, including a mozzarella and pesto focaccia. Wine, cocktails and craft beer sit alongside the coffee, tea and cold drinks, so the same venue works for a morning coffee or an evening drink. There is no booking system, and the shop runs on a walk-in basis. Dogs are welcome.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the coffee in a can concept, the canned iced coffees and matchas that several call unique, with the banoffee iced latte and the iced matcha named as standouts. Close behind are the baked goods and sandwiches: a mozzarella and pesto focaccia described as a good size for breakfast, pastries called extremely big for the value, and tasty cakes. One reviewer praises a hot chocolate that is not overly sweet. Staff come up repeatedly as friendly, and several describe a pleasant sense of community. The recurring trade-off is how busy it gets. One reviewer notes a queue and suggests going early on a weekend, while another says the efficient team keeps waits short and a seat is always found. One reviewer would like a brunch menu and some low background music. Reviewers also appreciate the spacious outdoor area, where the heaters help on cold days, and how dog friendly the place is.

“Mozzarella and pesto focaccia was a good size for breakfast, all the other pastries are extremely big for a good value. The coffee isn’t bad either, with subtle notes and good flavour. Hot Chocolate is also at a good level of sweetness without extra sugar. The atmosphere also has very morning-feels, extremely pleasant. The person who took our order(Jacklin?) was very friendly. Just exceptional in all aspects.”

“Love it in here, cakes and sandwiches are so tasty and iced matcha is amazing. I love all the syrups and particularly love how dog friendly it is. The outdoor area is really spacious and lovely, the heaters have been handy too when it’s a bit cold. Recommend going early on a weekend as it does get busy with a queue”

“Really lovely bakery. Coffee was perfect! Sandwich was fresh and pastry was yummy! Would love to see a brunch menu but I think they are limited on space here. Staff super friendly, really clean, fresh feel. Could do with some background music on low to add to atmosphere.”
