Customer Review Summary
Family lunches and the welcoming staff dominate feedback at The Robin Hood, with the pub's warmth and the fires "all going" on cold days singled out repeatedly. Dishes reviewers name include the super grains salad with chicken skewer, a caesar salad, a pie, and an avocado salad, alongside praise for quick kitchen service and a well-designed beer garden. Dog owners and parents note the pub accommodates children, allergies, and guide dogs alike, and several mention returning often as couples or with extended family. One diner, however, describes being served a mixed grill with a raw egg that made them sick, and says that while a server apologised and processed a refund, the manager who handled it was rude and offered no apology. Most other visits close on praise for the staff's friendliness and the pub's consistently good food.

“The restaurant looks very good starters came out and that was amazing Ordered a mix. Grill and egg was raw. What's caused me to feel ill and made me physically sick as I eaten some of the uncooked egg without noticing it at the time. Waitress came over. Asked how the food was and showed him the raw egg on my chips. He took the food away and apologised and also said himself that it was a raw egg but manager came over and asked me to come to the till for a refund as I couldn't eat any of the food what was on the plate she came very rude and never even apologised for the food that been served to me Wouldn't come back here again. Mistakes happen but manager was rude”

How this listing is sourced
- Where the data comes from
- Name, address, hours, contact details, amenities, ratings and review counts come from the business's publicly available profile data — not from the owner and not from paid submissions.
- How it stays current
- Listings are re-checked in batches against their public profile, and anything reported as wrong is corrected at the source rather than patched on the page.
- How it is ranked
- Placement is never sold. Every business on the page is ordered and compared using the same public signals, so an owner cannot pay to move up.
