Customer Review Summary
Axe throwing is what reviewers mention most, with hosts who explain the technique, give tips and stay with the group throughout, and a small after party for one birthday group. Minigolf comes close behind, described as spacious with up to four players on a card and a short description of how to play each hole. Karaoke gets praise too, with two microphones, a sound proof room and a search that pulls up any song on Spotify. Shuffleboard, darts and pool also come up, and one reviewer took the kids for golf, shuffleboard and karaoke. Staff are repeatedly called friendly and helpful, and one group who arrived late to their session were allowed to finish their full time and given extra. A bartender explained the cocktail tree to a reviewer who knew little about drinks, and the sweet cocktails won over someone who doesn't usually like them. One reviewer found the place very quiet, and another notes alcohol isn't allowed while axe throwing. Several booked ahead and were glad they did on a busy December night.

“I've been here multiple times, for both day outs and birthdays, and I can confidently say that my last visit was the best. Caitlyn was our axe throwing host and she was great. Easily made the time better and the small after party for our birthday boy. Would recommend, not only axe throwing but also there minigolf, haven't done the other activities but looking forward to.”

“7 of us went to the Boom battle bar and it was amazing. The place was way to quiet! The staff were lovely, we had turned up slightly late to our session but despite that they allowed us to do our full time and even added on extra time for us! The skillet at the bar was so cool, Connor is one of the most polite and patient people you'll meet he was down to earth and friendly he recommended us drinks and allowed us to record and was all around a lovely guy. The karoke was really great, with 2 microphones it's great for a team activity or all gathering around the mics and singing your heart out. The set up for the activity was extremely easy to us with a search option that allowed you to select any song on Spotify. The crazy golf was an amazing activity for the group of us with up to 4 people on the card it was spacious and fun to try all the different holes that all had a ruff discription of how you needed to play to win. Will defo be back soon! The place is very welcoming to students so if anyone's going to either uni in Sheffield it's a great spot for you on a budget!”

“I knew little about drinks and when asked the bartender about the cocktail tree he helped to explain everything to me and everyone. The kareoke room is also sound proof, screaming in there was only normal volume from outside when there was no one aound. The drinks also tasted nice ans sweet, I don't usually like the taste of these things but the cocktails we ordered were nice. Side note : there are some board games and stuff like connect 4, we didn't stay long enough to play since it was closing but kight be a fun thing to play as a side.”
