“Asked for a large bag of chips, had to wait for them but that was fine, when I opened the bag they had added battered sausage to the chips, being vegan was horrified they would do this, tried to return to ask why but shutters were down, will not be using Sam's again, always had good service before this,”
  • Lee Blakey
“Ordered 2 large cod, 1 large chips, 1 large peas. £21-40 wish i hadn't of bothered, chips taste like they've been blanched, fish batter was really soggy, absolute rubbish fish & chips, will never go again”
  • Nigel Marley
“Absolutely shocking. Ordered food tonight and it was shocking on all levels, looked awful, smelt awful and when I grabbed the fish the batter was soggy, I squeezed the fish and I've never seen so much oil pour out, in addition my Daughter had fish cakes 🤣 🤣 they were like hard biscuits, so we stood there for about 10 minutes laughing at our order and staring in disbelief. I can't comment on the taste as there was no way we were eating that, my poor dog had the misfortune of eating it, I do believe this one star is from my dog as my lab got rid of it in no time, so yes the dog liked it, however dogs also lick pee of lampposts. Never again, how are you still in business? "Additional comment after a rude reply to my post from the owner" Great feedback from the owner, how very professional of you, your attitude is as awful as your establishment, however not shocked at all, looking at your establishment speaks volumes about you, how can you charge people good money for that horrendous food you serve. Just look at your reviews, they speak volumes. Not that I need to explain myself to someone that is as low as you, however, my reviews are factual and honest, it's clear to me and all that read this post that you can't accept feedback or criticism, I was a customer that give you good money for food I give to my dog, you reply with venom and insults about my name, you also state that I hide behind a keyboard, grow up you fool, you have honestly made yourself look like a complete idiot. "Additional comment posted on the 24th of March 24". I see that the owner has deleted the reply post that he/she posted yesterday, the post that targeted my name Nigel Marley amongst other, that was the sensible thing to do however you should not have posted such a reply in the first place, so before you make such comments as "hiding behind a keyboard and calling my name stupid" think on, not a very professional thing to do. Take the feedback no matter how it's delivered, take the content as there is probably something in it and don't attack or insult the customer because your Business will be short lived. "Addition" That's better, a reply that's not 100% bitter, a reply that doesn't target my name, a reply that doesn't make the statement- hiding behind a keyboard. I see that you have deleted your previous message, good Business decision made there, as a lot of readers would have seen it.”
