  “The price is amazing! I have no idea why some say it’s expensive! £7 for a fish & chip special with a curry sauce or mushy peas BARGAIN. Look at the portion size too, plenty! The London prices are about £20+ so it’s amazing to get such good quality food at this price. Really lovely staff too, very quick service also. I Frequently go here when I’m back I highly recommend.”

  “Average at best, the food is very overpriced, I prefer Kingstons for quality and value. It was nearly £7 for sausage chips and peas. You really need to choose good prices over hig profit, fish and chip shops used to serve the community not there own pockets!!!!!!!!!!”

  “Ordered at 6.31 arrived at 9.27 Called 3 times to chase this to be told its on its way multiple times, this shouldn't of happened and is unacceptable. Will not be ordering again”

  “The stools was the best part about this whole place even though they look like something of the set the Titanic. The jacket potatos were cold , hard and quite frankly abysmal. Don't even get me started on the scampi, if I be honest I felt robbed. £8.20 for 8 pieces of sad depressing scampi that looked like they had Been fished out of a cement mixer . SHOCKING. FELT LIKE THE BOTTLE OF KETCHUP SHOULD HAVE COME WITH IT FOR THAT PRICE. then had the cheek to ask me if I wanted to pay for some tartare sauce. Steak pie was good throug I'll give them that. I'm pretty sure no potatoes were harmed makeing them chips though, dry and tasteless.”

  “We've always used this chippy but recently the portions have been reduced dramatically. It is no longer worth the money they are charging. When ordering a chip butty you are lucky to have enough chips to fill your bread bun with the new portion sizes”

  “Nice and tasty, but not much of a portion compared to other local chippies. Pie was microwaved so it made it all soft and soggy. College had sausage special with Chinese curry which he enjoyed. Overall it was OK.”

  “Diabolical! And its not the first time either!! I should have learned my lesson from previous visits! Never again! Where do i start!? When i walked in there were very little to choose from and this was Saturday afternoon, there were 2 fish that looked quiet appetising, the fish was like a fish finger that i was served and wasn't any of the 2 that was on display. The battered sausage was rock hard and barely edible and ended up in the bin! The chips was also ropey”
