Customer Review Summary
Reviewers mostly come for good-value pub food and drink at a busy Wetherspoons. The chicken tikka curry is called delicious, and diners also mention fish and chips, a burger and chips, a ramen noodle bowl likened to a chain restaurant's, and a jug of sex on the beach, though one felt it was light on spirits. One reviewer notes quick food, another says plates and glasses were cleared faster than at other branches, and staff are described as friendly, with one bartender knowledgeable about drinks. Breakfast draws the sharpest complaints. One diner describes toast barely cooked even after a replacement, lukewarm beans and cold, cremated bacon, while another calls it the worst breakfast and objects to the eggs. One finds the food bland, with chips that seemed microwaved. Understaffing recurs: a bar queue grew while one person served, and another says tables were left late for clearing. A diner found the tartar sauce pots empty and scraped the last bit out with a knife for their fish and chips.

“It's a Spoons normally great for a big breakfast, 40 mins wait, meals arrived minus the butter, given the butter then noticed the toast was barely cooked and one slice was not cooked at all. Replaced but again barely toasted, off white never had this anywhere else. The meal itself was warm not hot, the beans were luke warm, the bacon was cremated and cold, the rest was ok'ish. Shame because we've eaten here before & it was great.”

“This was the worst breakfast. It's seems to be hit and miss at roseberrys. I no It's cheap but I wouldn't dare put those eggs on a plate. The service was bad too It took around 20mins and it was quite.”

“It's a 'solid' 'spoons. The food is okay, good quality, but not up to the standard of the best in the franchise. That said it is still good and I dine here whenever I'm in Scarborough.”

“As always Wetherspoons never fails for value 10/10. Staff struggle with volumes with tables left late for clearing. Sauce pots all empty for Tartar sauce but managed to scrape one out with my knife for my fish and chips 😋 My wife had Rammon noodle bowl which she loved and it did look just like the waggamamas would have served up. Staff do work hard so 9/10 👏”

“It was packed when we went in and headed upstairs as it was very noisy. Luckily we found a table and ordered food. The lady(with red hair) who brought our food was very pleasant.I had a burger and chips which was the usual spoons standard.Another beautiful spoons building too.”
