  “I am celiac. I visited this place for the 1st time. On entering i asked the staff about gluten free menus. They pointed out it was a separate menu. After choosing what I wanted. I went to the bar to order. The lady once hearing what I ordered. Asked if I was celiac. When the food arrived. Again the staff asked if I had ordered gluten free. It also had a little red flag. Which I guess was so kitchen staff can tell the difference. The food was very tasty. I highly recommend this place if your celiac.”

  “Ever since this place opened up, it has been a regular haunt for me with family and friends. We all have various dietary requirements and staff are fastidious in making sure we get what we can eat. Staff are also really friendly and the cafe is very well maintained and clean. It's always a real pleasure to be here.”

  “They serve dirty plastics cup to serve orange juice for my kid. Most likely they use the cup that hold crayons to serve kid’s beverages, while the crayon stains still on the inner surface.”

  “Dined here as a vegetarian but was sadly disappointed with the food. My partner ordered meat dishes from the tapas and was equally disappointed. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. We were offered a refund, complimentary desert or a cocktail. We would not accept a refund as it may have been partly personal taste so we accepted a cocktail and had a nice evening.”

  “It was my first at Pionero Lounge but my Wife and daughters had been several times and they have always raved about it to be honest. So I arrived as my Daughters were treating my Wife for Mothers day so I went to the bar to order a few drinks 🍸 for me, our daughters and my Wife, Staff were polite and drinks were well presented and went down s treat. You can pay cash or card, They serve food, Non alcoholic drinks, Cocktails, Alcohol free drinks, Mocktails, smoothies etc. Relaxed atmosphere, Bar and dining 🍽 area were spotlessly clean, Polite and friendly staff. 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ I post I post alot of reviews on Google and I always give my honest opinion on everything from food, cleanliness, drink, Service, value for money, setting, ambience etc and I have over 32,000,000+ views on Google alone. I have reviewed everything from Locally to me and my Wife in Manchester to travelling around going for food with my Wife both locally and internationally to travelling around the country watching my Beloved Oldham Athletic to day trips and holidays with my Wife.   “£3.75p for a small bottle of diet coke. Tapas £13.50...2 duck pancakes with dried bits of duck inside and a dollop of hoisin. The spring onion and cucumber were cubed instead of slices which meant the filling was clumped in a ball in the middle of the pancake. 5 king prawns were fine over cooked and smothered in a greasy garlic, red Thai sauce??? The 2 chicken tikka kebabs, with 3 chunks of small chicken pieces were lovely and moist, but the portions are tiny. Overpriced. But they have a captive audience given the extremely limited options for food in the centre of Rochdale, so why would they provide anything more than they have to? The food could have been so much better given the price point. A shame. Will not be returning. Service was fine.”

  “What a fabulous find. Very busy for lunchtime service but the waitress found us a seat in no time. We ordered from the app which was super quick and very easy to do. Less than 5 minutes later our drinks arrived! When our food arrived it was delicious! To say that the chefs must have been really busy was an understatement. Yet our food was pretty much perfect. Highly recommend you drop in for food, well worth it.”

  “Would have been 5 stars but somehow the cup and saucers for coffee makes the brew feel expensive at breakfast time. Needs a mug. Breakfast was really nice! Granted you compare the price with a spoons and it's not cheap, but the quality of the ingredients is massively better and dictates the price which is therefore good value.”

  “Definitely a great addition to Riverside Shopping centre, part of a chain, it is vibrant, modern, with a boutique feel. The layout and ambience offers a chilled and relaxing feel. The staff are friendly, informative , helpful and attentive. The menu is full of delicious snacks and main meals, the full English 😋 is fabulous. Everything is competitively priced and offers value for money. If you enjoy being looked after, in a place with a great vibe, then this is the place for you 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟”

  “Pionero Lounge is one of my favourite places to visit for food in Rochdale. It’s part of The Loungers chain, and it was their 250th site when it opened in January 2024. The interior is spacious and still feels modern and fresh. There is a small outdoor seating area which is suitable for a nice day. I felt relaxed here and able to take my time to have a nice experience, which I appreciated. There is a large gluten-free menu with a variety of dishes, which can usually be found on the tables. My table didn’t have one, and it took a couple of minutes for a staff member to actually find one; this is one of the reasons I prefer the days of them having the paper menus, as there were lots of them, and the staff could get them instantly. The one I had was grease-stained. I’ve visited this location a couple of times now. My go-to dishes are the all-day brunch or the Louisiana Chicken Tenders. I ordered the latter on my most recent visit here. Food quality is generally fresh, hot and tasty, and the prices are reasonable, with allergen safety explained at the counter, the friendly staff are aware of the risks of cross-contamination and I plan to return in the future.”
