  “Went to CBK many times, and will be back. Food is too good to stay away. Because its a buffet, customers can try all different foods. Ideal for ppl to try first time, because you can take a wee bit, not have to order a whole plate. Then go back for what you liked most. The prices are reasonable. Lowest prices at lunchtime.”

  “its a buffet its quick its easy ,the food itself isnt the best but its fine on the whole ,good place to take kids as long as there not running about ,the prices keep going up though a lot more than expected but then everywhere is ,staff always seem good the main chap who is at the till is always great nice and freindly and good banter ,always even when busy was able to get a table fast and they bring you your drink quick ,its a fairly hectic noisey place but its got a good vibe about it good atmosphere and you can tell most folk esp kids are having fun lots of smiles .its the kind of place to go for a fun treat and to try different foods but must admit food wise its very farmfoods iceland type and not high end in anyway ..lol it is what it is so dont expect anything more Bejing banquet a few miles away has better food but it is more expensive and you usually gotta book unlike this place which usually you can get a seat table no bother .fast and fun”

  “ate here about a year ago and the food wasn't great. I thought they had improved and it would be good, but no. The food was a disaster, pasta overcooked both in soup and regular ones and still tasteless. The food was tasteless considering it's cooked by Asians. Pakistan cooks better Asian food than those chefs here. I don't recommend it”

  “I arrived around an hour and a half before closing time, yet many dishes had already been removed. Several items were taken away 30–45 minutes before the advertised closing time, and multiple trays were left empty without being refilled. For a buffet service, customers expect the full selection to be available until closing, so this was frustrating. Additionally, the quality of the food was below expectations. Some dishes were cold, others tasted stale, and overall the food did not feel fresh. It seemed as though items had been sitting out for a long time without being properly maintained or replaced. What made the experience even more disappointing was that I paid the higher evening price (7–10 pm service), which is significantly more expensive than the lunch buffet. Paying a premium price but not receiving the full selection — and experiencing poor food quality — felt unfair. I understand closing procedures need to begin at some point, but removing dishes early and not maintaining food quality significantly impacts the overall dining experience. I hope management reviews this, as improvements are clearly needed.”

  “Me and my partner decided to try this place again after a few years of avoiding it due to the food being terrible and undercooked. So we went for a valentines meal hoping things had improved but the food is just as rotten as it was before and I have been ill with food poisoning since! The staff are lovely so no fault there but my god they really need better chefs and better hygiene!”

  “Just had the most epic dinner at China Buffet King in Glasgow! 🤩 The spread is insane - so many authentic Chinese options to choose from. Food was piping hot, flavorful, and ridiculously delicious. 👍 Value for money, no question. Highly recommend for anyone craving a legit Chinese buffet experience. 👌 Will be back for sure! 😊”

  “I think it’s very much a hit and miss, but we definitely enjoyed this visit. The food was fresh & warm. Nice new additions since I’ve last been. Cheap & cheerful. Good variety there for fussy eaters. I really enjoyed the Peking duck. £14.99 all day Sunday!”

  “Have been many times before. Enjoyed our time there with the family. Went in the afternoon- prefer this time- quieter. Plenty of variety to choose from- all hot when eaten. ( good tip when at any buffet- stir the food about and take the food from the bottom- I was told this many years ago ). All food looked appetising and tasted good and all areas looked clean/ checked regularly by staff. Staff clearing tables regularly. A good place to go when we're back at Braehead shopping!”
