“Very good and prompt service following placement of my order. Unfortunately, the overall food quality was very disappointing. The complimentary prawn crackers tasted awful, as though they had been cooked in old or very poor-quality oil, leaving a horrible aftertaste to the point we discarded them to avoid feeling unwell. The pancake rolls were enjoyable, although excessively greasy, but clearly not fried in the same oil used for the prawn crackers. Sadly, the main courses were extremely unappealing, with a rubbery, gel-like texture that was very off-putting. Having been a regular customer of Zhong Hua Place for several years, I have noticed a clear decline in both food quality and overall enjoyment. Because of this experience, I have decided to use a different takeaway in future”

“Bought a salt & chilli munchie box. The chicken was rock solid all 6 wee bits. reheated and way overcooked. Onion rings were burnt. Ribs were so hard/dry the meat was crunchy. Spring rolls had no filling? £14 for a very small munchie box. Would not refund offered money off my next order which I will never be doing again, to send food out of that quality was shocking. NO REFUND GIVEN! Shocking customer service. Do not know how they have such a high rating I’m genuinely shocked at the state of that meal.”
