  “Been a regular customer here for years, but after tonight I won’t be returning. Ordered three items for collection and after a 15-minute drive home realised one of them was completely wrong. I called straight away and was told I’d have to drive the incorrect item back so they could “prove” they got it wrong before swapping it. That’s a 30-minute round trip for their mistake. I asked if they could deliver the correct item instead — they said they were so busy it would take “a very long time” as they were already behind on other orders (again not my fault). I then asked if I could get a refund the next day and was told only if I brought the wrong item back untouched because “anyone could do this.” As a loyal, long-term customer, being treated like I was trying to scam them was ridiculous. The whole conversation was relayed through a young staff member passing messages from the “manager,” which made it even more frustrating. Mistakes happen — but how you handle them matters. Sadly, the customer service tonight was appalling. Ps - the food we did get wasn’t good either, the quality has been declining for a while now something our loyalty blinded us from acknowledging”

  “Got a takeaway tonight Friday 2 Jan was most disappointed normally its real good but tonight's was realy bad .prawn toast was so overcooked it was only fit for the bin .the chicken chow mein was swimming in gravy never had it like that before it was terrible the hole lot went in the bin realy disappointed wont be back .you need to speak to your chef”

  “The food itself was nice and the delivery man is lovley. The young man on the phone though is very RUDE!!! Honestly you shouldn't be speaking to your customers the way you do. So for that reason, will not be ordering again.”

  “We have ordered from this Chinese for years however recently we have noticed we have been waiting for 2 hours or more for our delivery. We can't fault the delivery driver as he's really nice however the waiting time is ridiculous. The food is lovely, however we feel the waiting time is beyond a joke.”

  “I had used this place a few times & food was always decent but fried rice I received on latest order was not fresh - it looked as if it had been refried & was very oily - we just could not eat it - phoned to complain but lady was adamant it was fresh - no apology or refund offered - quality of food & non existent customer service means I will not be returning...”

  “I’ve been using this Chinese takeaway for about 5 years now. Even though we’ve move a 20 minute drive away, it still our favourite and is worth the time getting to and from the restaurant. It an open kitchen where you can see your food being cooked. It’s strictly takeaway orders only. The food is the best in Glasgow. I’ve tried several and nothing compares to the Oriental Delight. If you’re looking for a good Chinese takeaway, trust me and try this place, you won’t be disappointed.”

  “I ordered salt and chilli chicken wings, a sweet and sour king prawn Cantonese style and fried rice and a turbo chowmein. The chickens were nice enough and when I put out the sweet and sour you know rice first then the sweet and sour over the top only to discover the shop had sent chicken instead. I was angry as I have looked forward to this all day. I phoned the take away and they said they would send a king prawn and I said they would need to send a rice too. I explained we had put the meal out. I was told they couldn't replace the meal because I had put it out. Bearing in mind THEY got the order wrong and chicken is cheaper than king prawns. They said they would give me it free next time. I don't want it free next time I just want what I ordered and paid for. They are not doing me any favours as they made the mistake so they should fix it. I will never get a take away from them again. I certainly would never recommend them.”

  “Ordered food (fried rice) worth £40 and asked them to make it a bit extra spicy (just to throw in a bit of chilli powder, that’s what they do anyways) and it was 50p extra per rice dish and it came down to £42.50. Then they say no card payments and I only had £42.40 cash and they asked me to go to the ATM for the 10p which was for the extra spicy request 🤦🏽‍♂️ And to make it even better it was pouring outside when she asked a customer to go to an ATM for 10p Taking only cash payments so they fraud the tax system and then being stingy for 10p! If I was from around here and knew other places I would’ve never given them the business! Avoid like the plague!”

  “Love this takeaway, deliverys always on time usually super quick, hot and well packaged! We quite like the Mixed Meat Szechuan Style, Mixed Meat Curry, Salt and Chilli Munch Box and Salt and Chilli Chicken wings too name a few.. defo worth a taste! 5 stars from me 👌👍😀”

  “Best Chinese ever! We've been ordering here for a good couple of years now and safe to say it's never disappointed. We drive 20 miles every time just to get food from here as we're outwith delivery area but it's well worth it. We've had numerous things from the menu and nothing has ever let us down. Their Thai green curry and szechuan pork are best I've ever had. Definitely recommend!!🍛👌🏻”
