About Spitfire cafe manston
At the Spitfire Museum on Manston Rd in Ramsgate, Spitfire cafe manston serves breakfasts, lunches, teas, coffees, cakes and ice cream, and it is fully licensed. Because the cafe sits at the museum, it gives visitors a place to eat on site. The breakfast menu includes a veggie breakfast alongside the full breakfast and sausage dishes. At lunchtime, the club sandwich and the triple cheese toasty each come with salad and crisps. Hot drinks and milkshakes cover the rest of the menu. Dogs are allowed, and tables can be booked by phone.

Customer Review Summary
Most reviewers come for the breakfasts, and the veggie breakfast with a flat white or latte is the item named most often, with several calling it tasty and good value. Close behind are a club sandwich, a triple cheese toastie with salad and crisps included, scampi and a chicken burger, and one diner's pick of the best chips ever. Staff are repeatedly described as friendly and welcoming, and a few mention the Spitfire Museum and simulator alongside the meal. The complaints centre on sausages and value. One reviewer found the sausage sandwich was made from hard, burnt, dry breakfast leftovers, another said the sausages were burnt and the mash yellow, and a milkshake was too sweet and left the glass sticky with syrup. A veggie breakfast was called thin on food, one reviewer's poached eggs arrived hard and dry, and another objected that a 10% service charge was added although the menu calls it optional. The cafe was also called noisy with uncomfortable chairs. One diner whose burnt sausage sandwich was not charged still said they would visit again.

“"terrible" breakfast £11 for full breakfast +£2.60 for a cup of tea +10%service charge which is according to the menu optional that is not true it's just added to the bill so £14.96 for a dreadful breakfast my partner poached eggs where hard boiled not poached and she left over half because it was so dry.If you look at the menu on this review the prices are higher full breakfast shows as £9 it's actually £11 so expect to pay more than you think and don't forget the 10% that's not optional because they want you to pay the staff not him/ her.”

“Booked a table for 4 for today via telephone call and asked about dogs and they were allowed. Ordered a breakfast, scampi and the chicken burger with tea, iced latte and strawberry milkshake and the waitresses were extremely helpful and happy to serve. The drinks came out and then the food, wow I was so impressed, the amount of food was perfect, the quality was impressive, the sausage on the breakfast was "the best ive had in years " to quote my dad. For the price average £18 per head it was delicious. We have already planned to return and it will be regular too! 5* im my eyes..”

“Nice cafe albeit noisy and uncomfortable chairs. Staff friendly and efficient but I had veggie breakfast which was not cheap but a distinct paucity of food. Nothing of any substance just slop really. Won't be going back.”
