  “The food and the service was exceptional. Our server Georgia was just wonderful. The Crispy Chicken starter, Mussel-Pot main and Creme Brule were my personal favourites. Also found the ladies restroom to be very thoughtful, with deodorants, dry-shampoo and wipes available, which were life savers after exploring the White Cliffs of Dover in the middle of the heatwave prior to our lunch booking. I can't recommend this restaurant enough, and I cannot wait to visit again! And thank you for making my birthday extra special.”

  “A nice restaurant on the seafront. A good a la carte menu, and also a fixed price lunch menu with options of two or three courses. Some nice beers too, including beers on tap and bottles from the fridge.”

  “We had an excellent meal here. Great flavors and presentation. Super fresh ingredients. Loved the scallops and mussels. Friendly and attentive staff completed the experience. Would definitely recommend and return the next time we are in Deal.”

  “Have been here 3 or 4 times and happy to book again for Sunday supper. We had fantastic tasty wee starters and huge and very well executed roast dinners. Good veg and a jug of gravy and cauliflower cheese on the side felt generous. We had a nice bottle of Fleurie to go with both the roast chicken and beef. Sweet and chatty young team serving. Highly recommended”

  “10/10! Visiting the area for a few days. Came across the reviews and wanted to try. We had a lovely, really delicious meal. Great atmosphere, lovely staff, no rush and wonderful food. What a find this restaurant was!”

  “Dinner for two last night and it was excellent! We ordered the venison and fillet steak, both very perfect. Desserts also lovely, my lemon cheesecake was delicious. Great service, lovely place, excellent mock tails too. Will 100% book again when we're next in town.”

  “We spent a long weekend in Deal for my mum’s birthday and ate at 81 Beach St both nights. We’d originally booked another restaurant for our second night, but we had such a lovely meal here on the Friday that we had to return again on the Saturday. The food and service were excellent on both occasions. My food highlights were the scallops starter and chicken supreme, which I had on night one, but the mussels and sorbets were also very good. The only slight disappointment was the burger, which I found a little dry, but I’ve definitely had worse burgers. For the overall quality of the food, we felt the restaurant offered very good value for money. Highly recommended.”
