  “Absolutely worth coming all the way here for the lobsters (and more)! We've visited last year and knew we had to come back again. Recommend emailing ahead of time for the oysters as they're not on the menu - locally sourced and sweet oysters (as the guests next to our table, show were locals, recommended).”

  “We went for brunch on Saturday and had the best food! Service was great, there was a slight hiccup with our order but things happen it’s how we were dealt with after that made the experience so great. Thank you Joel B for making our date afternoon so great and your recommendation of the cinnamon roll, it was amazing!”

  “Overall a nice experience the steak was decent quality and nicely cooked. The only miss was the chermoula missing a bit kick. Vegan and dog friendly with good service. Reservations are highly recommended as it does get quite busy in the evenings.”

  “Our experience at this restaurant was amazing. We were a group of 15 and had the Steak & Lobster 3-course feasting menu. The setting was idilic, the ambience relaxed, the service attentive and the food was simply superb. The food and drink was also very reasonably priced. We could not have been better looked after. Thank you.”

  “Thoroughly enjoyed my meal here. The staff were very professional a d welcoming. A complimentary bite was an even bigger plus. Shown to your table and a bottle of water brought immediately without asking - little touches go a long way! Shame there was a loud group behind us that had quite a few children. Not the restaurants fault. But they were very loud, which was a downside. The food was great, beautifully presented. The table we were given was a perfect view. For the location and good quality, we felt fairly priced too We'll definitely go again”

  “So. Here's the deal. Sometimes you want to eat at a place with a great view. A vista of the sea, the pretty houses along the shoreline, for example. Sometimes it's the food and drink that matters more. Something tasty, not fussy, but clearly made with love. Or maybe what really matters is the quality of the waiting staff. Attentive, but not over-beating. Just friendly and welcoming. And so the problem with DPK will be deciding which of these three you rate higher. Because, frankly, at our "bottomless brunch" yesterday we loved all three. Highly recommended, a great vibe. Easy food. More fizz than you could (or should!) get through in 90 minutes. Just. Good. Fun. Put this on your list of places to visit.”

  “Very popular café with friendly staff, an appealing menu with good brunch options, a great selection of drinks and plenty of seating. The location at the end of Deal Pier is a real selling point, with views out across the water and back inland to the attractive seafront. Prices are on the high side, but service was consistent with the expectation set, and it's the only place in the area to offer refreshments above the sea. The popularity is such that on busy weekends there can be queues to get in. Fortunately, if you're just looking for a takeaway drink and pastry, there's a little kiosk outside so you don't have to wait for a table.”

  “Beautiful spot right on the pier with amazing sea views and a really relaxed atmosphere. We had eggs benedict, english breakfast and coffee – fresh, tasty, and well presented. The setting is what makes it special, sitting by the window looking over the water was perfect. Friendly staff and a lovely brunch experience. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in Deal.”
