  “This restaurant could be such a lovely place, but unfortunately, the service really let it down. From the moment you walk through the door, you’re taken into the bar area, which is beautiful and gives you high expectations. However, as soon as you’re taken through to the restaurant, it’s pure chaos. We were immediately hounded by multiple waiters asking for drinks orders before we’d even had a chance to look at the menu. The serving team had a very impatient demeanour throughout, and we constantly felt rushed to make decisions. We placed our food order and, bizarrely, it arrived at the table just five minutes later. The whole experience felt incredibly rushed and disorganised. There were so many staff constantly buzzing around the restaurant that it became quite overwhelming — like little wasps! We were there celebrating a birthday, and unfortunately there wasn’t even one attempt to make the occasion feel special, which was really disappointing. The restaurant itself has so much potential, but the service completely overshadowed it. Sadly, we won’t be returning.”

  “Not as good as it used to be. Waiting team are more like plate carriers who call the dish by name and slap it down. No hospitality, no offer of condiments and no "enjoy your meal" Italian restaurant and no offer of Black Pepper??? Food, I was disappointed with the Steak Diane; £26.99, one small piece of steak, half a dozen potatoes and a tiny stack of veg. One member of staff stood out, older chap 5ft with glasses, recommended wine and served the wine well. There are better Italian restaurants out there; cheaper and much better service.”

  “Lovely restaurant! The front entrance certainly impressed. We were greeted and shown to a table within the bar area immediately (we arrived a little later than our booking time due to traffic!). A server took our drinks order and gave us menus to peruse whilst we waited. Shortly after our drinks arrived, we were taken through to the restaurant. Admittedly this section of the restaurant was a little older looking and almost felt like a different venue to the one we’d viewed from the front. Despite this, the restaurant was pleasant and clean. Our food arrived quickly (we had the three course menu) and we were overfaced with the portions! Which wasn’t a problem as the staff provided boxes so that we could take food home. My friend requested assistance with her meal due to a less than plentiful amount of salmon however they immediately dealt with this and presented a fresh and hot meal promptly. The garlic breads were beautiful as were the desserts! I would eat here again and think it was a lovely venue for a special occasion.”

  “2nd May 2026 Drove up from Somerset to see my sister who's husband has been diagnosed with cancer. Took her here on her recommendation to cheer her up. Fantastic building, nice reception area to have pre dinner drinks and order meal. Was the taken past lots of other diners to a corner of a big room at the back of building overlooking a car park with delivery truck & possibly owners Bently. 😡 we felt as 3 OAP'S we had been put almost out of sight. See our view in photo 📸. We enjoyed our meals, although salad with the duck lacked dressing. Finally as we started our deserts, staff started re arranging the tables & chairs dragging them about making a lot of noise.”

  “Our first visit to this beautiful restaurant was a wonderful surprise. The venue is much larger than expected, with a lovely atmosphere and elegant surroundings that create a welcoming dining experience from the moment you arrive. We received a warm welcome on arrival, our drinks order was taken promptly, and we were politely shown to our table. The service initially felt attentive and friendly, making for a very enjoyable start to our lunch. To begin, we ordered the Pâté della Casa, followed by the Spaghetti alla Bolognese. Both dishes were beautifully presented, full of flavour, and thoroughly enjoyable. The only disappointment came towards the end of our visit. While our starters and main arrived in good time, there were no check-backs during the meal to ask whether everything was satisfactory. After we had finished, I asked a member of staff for the bill, but after waiting over 15 minutes nothing arrived. I politely asked again and waited a further five minutes before deciding to walk to the till to pay. I explained the situation to the staff member, who sincerely apologised, and I appreciated the gesture. Despite this minor service issue, we had a lovely lunch and genuinely enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and surroundings. With a little more attentiveness towards the end of the meal, the experience would have been excellent. We look forward to returning again in the future.”

  “First thoughts driving up the long driveway, you could be forgiven for thinking this is is going to be expensive. It was our first visit and the layout is fantastic. Plenty of parking and the restaurant itself is very high end with inside/ outside drinking and dining, especially with the weather we're having. The waiting area is ample with time to look at the menus. Plenty of choice for all tastes with a wine menu that is extensive. Our party of seven were there for our daughters / granddaughter graduation. The total bill was less than £300 including drinks, soft and alcoholic. The food came in close order and hot and the staff were very attentive. I would thoroughly recommend The Italian Orchard and whoever reads this review, will have as pleasant an experience as we did”

  “We attended an 18th birthday party there, and the food was fantastic. It's a very popular spot, so booking ahead is definitely recommended. Here's what I particularly enjoyed: my choices * Bruschetta: 10/10 * Carbonara Penne Pasta: 10/10 * Chocolate Cake: 10/10”

  “My wife and I took our two boys here as a small family celebration, and had a fantastic night. The selection of wines here is second to none, and we were lucky enough to open a 1984 Sassicaia for the evening. Our thanks to Samuel in the bar for listing the vintages, offering corrections and getting his hands on the bottle we wanted. It was much appreciated. Our bottle was waiting on the table, and the uncle of the owner (who's name I regrettably can't recall today) took time, care and attention making sure it was in the best condition for us to enjoy. It was a show-stopper, and paired so very well with the food. I had a buttery-soft fillet with paté, and my my wife had beef medallions with garlic. It was one of the nicest meals we've ever shared as a family, and I even managed to snag another bottle to take home later that evening. It really is a fantastic place. The first time we went, years ago, I was a bit put off by the size of the menu. It's hard to be able to do so much, so well -- but they manage to pull it off. All in all, a fantastic experience and one we hope to repeat again very soon.”

  “A lovely Italian restaurant in Broughton just off the motorway. Very modern, lots of glass, tiles and industrial metal beams in the bar/ lounge area. A very large place with lots of rooms with some quirky features ie. Red Fiat 500 and a motorbike and plenty of staff. Interesting menus with different items as well as the traditional. We called at lunchtime on a Tuesday and it was very busy, I definitely recommend you book first. We ate off the lunchtime menu which has an offer of 2 courses for £22.90 or 3 courses for £28.90. I had the warm goats cheese starter and Frico Tradizionate for main which is a flat ovan-baked mixture of potato & cheese with a cream and mushroom sauce, which came with carrots and brocoli and small potatoes and was very nice. My friends also enjoyed their meals. A large car park & lovely white,chrome and marble bathroom. Lovely large bar area.”
