“Went to Roots with my lovely friend Audrey. We both had the homemade Pea & Ham soup & a sandwich. It was by far the best homemade we have ever had. Made the traditional way, with Ham Shank, potatoes, leak & carrots. The peas were done the traditional way of soaking overnight etc. The soup was a feast in itself. Didn’t really need the delicious sandwich and we only managed to eat half as there was such a lot of filling. Would highly recommend. The prices are very reasonable as well. Just wondering if we have room for a slice of cake or not! Quick service and lovely staff as well.”
