Customer Review Summary
The complaints are about service and upkeep. One reviewer says coffee and food both took some time to arrive and suggests too few staff, and describes tatty chairs, weeds in the planters and a dirty ashtray in the back courtyard. Another says a waitress turned their group away at 2.30pm as no longer serving, then took orders from three more couples, which they called rude. One reviewer found the homemade soup sold out.

“We arrived mid afternoon on a very hot day and being cyclists were very hot. The staff were extremely accommodating suggesting we leave our bicycles around the back for safety. They met all our needs food and drink wise and replaced the drinks in our drinks bottle with ice cold water and ice cubes. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We will definitely go back there.”

“Ignore the negative reviews, there are some strange people around. I went in for lunch today, and it was quite busy. Always a good sign. I ordered the Bacon and Cheeseburger with chips and salad, and the portion was really generous. The burger was plump and juicy, and the chips were lovely and crisp. I could not fault the staff who were helpful, pleasant and chatty. I will definitely be going back there.”
