About Cobbled Corner Cafe, Chipping

Cobbled Corner Cafe sits on Garstang Road in the village of Chipping, and groups of cyclists riding out make it a regular stop, with riders welcomed in. Orders are taken at the table, and no booking is needed since the cafe runs on walk-ins. Breakfast anchors the menu, with a full English served in a smaller size too, brought with a pot of tea and rounds of toast, and the team will swap items on the plate on request. Much of the food is made in house, including soups such as pea and ham, while cakes are cut by the slice, among them lemon Victoria sponge. Coffee is made to order. A step-free entrance keeps the room reachable for visitors with mobility needs, high chairs suit families with young children, and outdoor seating gives cyclists and dog owners somewhere to sit, as dogs are welcome. It opens Wednesday to Saturday during the daytime.

Customer Review Summary

The full English breakfast draws the most detailed praise, with one reviewer singling out the butcher's own sausage, well cooked bacon, a single thick slice of black pudding, thickly sliced mushrooms and a generous pot of tea, and another noting that the kitchen happily swaps items on the plate. Close behind sits the home baking and home cooking: a light, zingy lemon Victoria sponge, proper homemade pea and ham soup, and a jacket potato with good quality tuna filling. Coffee comes up repeatedly too, with a macchiato and a flat white both called out. Several arrive by bike, one group riding a long way specifically to stop in, and the village setting and dog friendly welcome recur. Not every visit lands the same way: one reviewer found the staff hassled, missed the warm greeting others describe and thought the teapots needed a clean, while another wished the chicken barm came with leaves and a tomato. Several say it is well worth popping in if passing through Chipping.

What an excellent cafe in the lovely village of Chipping. Having been going there for many years with a group of cyclists. The food is all home made and delicious, the service is always prompt and friendly and the atmosphere always warm and welcoming. You couldn't ask for a more welcoming cafe. The area around chipping is excellent for cycling. Look forward to go there again.

I've been here this morning. Cobbled corner cafe is located in a very quiet village which I think is awesome. The service is very welcoming and friendly. The small English breakfast is tasty and they are happy to swap items on your plate which is great.

How this listing is sourced

Where the data comes from
Name, address, hours, contact details, amenities, ratings and review counts come from the business's publicly available profile data — not from the owner and not from paid submissions.
How it stays current
Listings are re-checked in batches against their public profile, and anything reported as wrong is corrected at the source rather than patched on the page.
How it is ranked
Placement is never sold. Every business on the page is ordered and compared using the same public signals, so an owner cannot pay to move up.
