  “⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10 – Fantastic Food and Outstanding Customer Service! We had an amazing experience at Umami Portsmouth. From the moment we walked in, the customer service was exceptional. A big thank you to Wasi and Nadir, who looked after us brilliantly. The lad at the counter took the time to go through the whole menu, checked for any allergies, answered all our questions, and had a great chat with us. It made us feel genuinely welcome. The food was absolutely spot on. We had a couple of burgers and some chicken strips, and everything was cooked perfectly. The portions are generous, the sauces are incredible, and you can tell that a lot of care goes into the food. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity you receive. The restaurant itself was clean, tidy, and had a great atmosphere. Everyone was friendly, chatty, and made the whole experience even better. What really sets Umami apart is the customer service. Great food is one thing, but it's the warm, welcoming staff that make you want to come back. A well-deserved 10/10 for the food, service, atmosphere, cleanliness, and overall experience. Highly recommended!”

  “I had another wonderful dining experience at Umami! This is the third time I’ve come here, and the food has been consistently delicious every single visit. Every dish is full of flavor, fresh, and beautifully prepared. The service is absolutely top-notch. All of the staff are friendly, attentive, and welcoming, making every visit enjoyable. A special thank you to HAYMI &CROW, who always provides exceptional service with a warm smile and great attention to detail. They have amazing activity pack for kids as well .   “Now my 2nd time here, really good burgers and food in general! Good sized menu too. The restaurant is a decent size, a few open tables and the rest boothed seating. Staff quick and attentive. Good food, will return to try the wraps. Update: I came back for the beef wrap and YEEESSSS!! incredible food, quite possibly the best wrap I've ever eaten. Pictures for your viewing pleasure, if you're near by go check them out. They also do in week special menus at a discounted price! Beef wrap meal 10/10 My server and waitress, she had such a nice energy! Keep being awesome 🫶”

  “I went to Umami to celebrate my brother's birthday with family in Portsmouth. The decor of the establishment was sleek and inviting. The customer service was of a high standard with attentive and caring staff. The food was outstanding in terms of taste, texture and the feel of the food. The food was made with great love and pride. I recommended that they should open a branch in London. I informed them I would become a regular customer there. I wish Umami great fortune and success in their endeavours.”

  “Incredible food, fantastic service and the milkshakes are divine. The music is at the perfect volume and really compliments the vibe of the place, portion sizes are plenty so you don’t leave wanting more. Staff were so friendly and you can tell they love working here. Highly recommend!”

  “We ended up here after going to another resturant which we had booked in advance but they had a “lunchtime only menu” which didn’t include the Birria Tacos. I looked at Birra places nearby and this was a 4 minute walk but I’m SO glad I found this little gem! The food is unreal! SO much flavour, hot fresh food and fast service. Will definitely come back here and 100% recommend to the people of Portsmouth. Our server was Elza and she was very efficient with our food and boxing up our leftovers (as they do NOT scrimp on the portions sizes here). She was also cleaning everything inbetween service and kept herself busy which was nice to see! They do not serve any alcohol here but that’s not an issue as there’s lots of places nearby so 10/10 from me!”
